Will have a flashback into their highschool that might take up more than one chapter

The clocks tick away early in the morning, but soon start to ring, alerting Koshi to get up. It was finally the best day of the year. His birthday.
He gasps as he gets woken up by the clocks.
"Happy Birthday, Koshi!" He says to himself before running downstairs. He goes to the small coffee table downstairs, and starts to dig under all the presents sitting there until he finds the one he is looking for.
There it is! His mothers letter!
His face lights up and he gasps before ripping it open and reading it. He takes out many pages and starts reading.
('Words like this is letter')
'My dear Koshi! Happy birthday! Today you turned eight years old! I bet you look exactly like your dad, same hair, same eyes. Don't you think so, Koshi?'
"No! I look like you!" The boy says a little angrily. He then continues to read the letter again
'You are a big boy today son, so today I am going to tell you a big story. This story is about me, your dad, and Koshi.'
"Koshi?" The boy asks out loud.
He was confused as to why his name was in the story. Maybe it was a story about all three of them before Yui died?
