Heartbreak

Over the next few days, Sugawara was at his worst. He didn't eat. He stayed alone, and after a while, he stopped coming to practice.

He didn't want to be in that environment for long. He almost thought of leaving. He thought it wouldn't affect anything, because he was in his third year and was almost done anyways, whats so bad if he just leaves.

He went to the team one day without Daichi and handed Ukai his registration. Ukai looked at him with wide eyes, and many of the team members were crying. They begged him not to leave for a while, but realized he wasn't budging on his decision. They engulfed him in one more hug and he was on his way.

It might have been too far fetched, but Suga couldn't bare watching Yui and Daichi. He wish the best for his friend. But he could not help but wish he was with him instead.

A couple of blocks away from the school was a bus stop. Suga got on there, and cried as that was his last day at Karasuno.

Daichi and Yui both show up at the bus stop , hoping to find Suga and clear all of this up.

"Yui look left and I'll look right!" Daichi seemed frantic and worried. He started to look in all the windows until he found his sitting. He runs to the door and goes to the seat that Sugawara was sitting.

"What the hell is this?! You're leaving?! The school?!" Daichi asked him.

"M-my parents got new jobs and he had to move very l-last minute!" Suga lies.

"Y-you can't just leave?! What about the team? What about me?! You can't just leave me?!" Daichi almost yells at him.

"You have Yui now, why do you need me?" Suga asked in a monotone voice.

"Wha-SUGA I need you because you are my best friend! I can't live without you! What about the vice captain of Karasuno??" Daichi keeps on trying to find reasons for him to stay.

"Asahi can take care of that. I have to leave Daichi!" Suga yells the last part.

"Ohhh ok, so you leaving your school, leaving your family team, leaving me, I get it!" Daichi starts to storm off the bus. Suga follows him to the door.

"Daichi I'm leaving!" Suga calls after him.

"Go!" Daichi yells back.

"I'm not coming back!"

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!" Daichi yells. But that was a lie. He cared so much.

Suga feels the bus slowly start to move as he hold on to the door. Yui looks at him, tears fighting to spill. He gives her a sweet smile and she finally realizes what she did.

Daichi pauses as the bus starts to leave. He turns around to still see Suga at the door.

"SHIT! SUGA!" He runs after the slow moving bus. He is able to catch up and hold on to the door before the station ends.

"Suga! Who's gonna play volleyball with me?" He cries.

"You have an entire team." Suga replies.

"You can't just leave me to take care of all of our kids!?" He says.

"Now you have Asahi!" Suga laughs a bit.

"Don't go, please!" He cries.

"I'm sorry!"

"But I'll miss you." He says right before he has to let go.

"I'll miss you too!" Suga yells.

Daichi let's go and as Suga is moving away, he motions their hand shake. Daichi motions it with him, and that was the last he ever saw of Sugawara Koshi.
