-Chapter 9: Elixir-
"Love is blind, deaf and fucking dumb."

Who ruined Saeran's life?
On the way back to Mint Eye, I had only this question in my mind in the deep silence in the car. The road was flowing, the sun had already set, and the moon had already risen into night. Saeran was as quiet as ever, finally calming down, probably because he was suddenly screaming at all the anger that had built up inside him. Of course, that didn't mean his anger was over, but for now he was sure not to yell at me.
It was difficult to find the answer to the question. He gave me some clues, like someone he trusted and left Saeran alone. The period of time he meant was probably before Rika took him under her protection. In this case, that person was either a father or a brother.
But the strange thing was that some doubts arose in me at this part of the story. In our conversation with Rika the other day, it caught my attention that while she was saying that she took Saeran under protection, she didn't care about Saeran at the same time. So I think they have something more like a leader-disciple relationship than a protector-son relationship. Saeran's mental problems were also confusing me. Drugged disciples..believers..Saeran's aggressive manners..
There were too many gaps in the story, which made it very difficult for me to find the answer to my question. Unfortunately, one of the worst aspects of being a writer is the blockage that comes from not being able to fill in the blank.
Saeran didn't say a word after we got back. He just quietly parked the car, waited for me to enter, then closed the big door behind us. While the believers passing by greeted us, he did not taunt any of them. Okay, I was used to him being quiet, but this much was making me nervous.
When we got to the front of the control room, he turned and looked at me with tired eyes. "You don't have to come until I call. Pretend you're on day off." he muttered simply, walking into the control room and closing the door behind him. I just stood in front of the door, not knowing what to do.
Saeran didn't call me for about 2 days. When I messaged him, it was all forwarded. When I called, his phone was ringing, ringing, but no one picked up. I didn't even dare to go to his room.
On the morning of the third day, it was raining heavily outside. I sighed while looking at the garden from the window of my room. It couldn't last like this. Even if he was going to yell at me, get angry, or even chain me to the dungeon, I would go and talk to him.
After I had my breakfast, had a quick shower and changed, when I headed for my door to leave, there was a knock on my door at the same time. I eagerly opened the door, hoping to be met with mint green eyes, but there was a believer standing in front of me.
"Mr. Choi wants to see you." the believer bowed.
Choi? Who the fuck is Mr. Choi?
"Excuse me?" i tilted my head. "Who is Mr. Choi?"
The believer raised his head and looked at me with blank eyes. "Mr. Saeran Choi, Miss Rosa."
Wow, I've been here for over a month and a half and I learned Saeran's last name from a believer, not from him.
"Thanks, I'll be there in a few minutes." I sighed and muttered.
Even though I said a few minutes, it took me 10 minutes to leave the room. That's why I ran the road. After entering the password on the panel in the control room, I went inside. Saeran wasn't sitting in front of computer screens as I had expected, his leather jacket was hanged on his chair and he was lying on the sofa. His eyes were closed and he had his arm over his face.
