seungmin was pacing back and forth in his and jooyeon's shared room. seemingly being deeply lost into his own thoughts. jooyeon was not in the room and that was why he allowed himself to walk around. not like he wouldn't do it if the younger was here, but now that he was alone, he felt more free to do so.
❝yesterday he said he didn't want to talk to anyone.❞ seungmin stated, running fingers through his soft locks. ❝i feel bad for not doing anything about it.❞ silence fell in the bedroom for a few minutes. seungmin stood still in the middle of the room as if he was listening to something very carefully. then letting out a small sigh, ❝yes i am well aware of him being upset about something, i don't need you to tell me that.❞ he rolled his eyes in annoyance taking a seat on his bed.
he wanted to talk to jungsu and comfort him however he could. yet, the elder seemed to not want anyone around. before him, jiseok tried approaching him and it was no use. jungsu didn't talk to gunil either and hyeongjun recalled him being upset about something since that morning.
seungmin had no clue what to do. he wanted to give jungsu some time alone if the elder wanted so, but on the other hand he couldn't help but worry for him. and he could tell, it wasn't something that just needed time and would be solved by itself, jungsu was visibly upset about something and he needed someone to talk to. yet, he refused to do so.
that was why, seungmin was hesitant. torn in between walking to jungsu and asking if there was anything wrong, or just letting the elder be. he knew, if something, jungsu himself would come up to him to talk. but sometimes he was becoming stubborn and stated that he wanted to be alone. when in fact, in those moments all he wanted were comfort and big, warm cuddles.
❝you think i should go?❞ seungmin stood up, approaching the window and looking outside. silence fell in the bedroom for a few minutes or so, before seungmin spoke up again. ❝okay, i guess i can give it a try.❞ and with those words he opened the door of his room and walked out of there, going to jungsu and hyeongjun's shared room, knowing well that jungsu was there since that morning.
he knocked on the door gently, patiently waiting for the response but was met with silence. pressing his lips into a thin line, ❝now shut the fuck up, i'm going to ask him what's bothering him.❞ seungmin hissed in a whisper and opening the door anyway, placed a small smile on his lips. ❝su.❞
jungsu lazily turned his head to the side, where from he had heard his nickname being called out. but before looking, he already knew that it was seungmin walking in, since the younger was the only one calling him that certain nickname and well obviously he knew by the voice too.
❝can i?❞ seungmin approached the bed where jungsu was sitting and after receiving a small, nearly invisible nod from the elder, he sat on the edge of the bed, looking at him. ❝you've been off since yesterday. did something happen? you know, i didn't want to bother you. but they told me it would be better if i talked to you.❞
jungsu closed his eyes, letting out a small sigh. seungmin felt like yes, the elder did want to talk about something but if he did so, he would start crying. he felt so bad, seeing the elder like this. he didn't know what to do.
❝if you don't want to talk, that's okay.❞ seungmin finally broke the long, rather heavy silence between the two of them, climbing fully on the bed and making himself comfortable right beside jungsu, wrapping his arms around the elder and pulling him in a tight hug, ❝just so you know, i'm here.❞ he assured, letting jungsu rest his head on his chest.
leaning into the younger's touch, jungsu pressed his lips into a thin line, trying to collect his thoughts and think of the best way to word them. he wanted to tell seungmin what was bothering him this much and he wanted for the younger to understand it.
