i i don't think this is a good idea.❞

come on, i know how you feel about them and how you hate them. i understand you totally but i want to show them that you are here. that you are happy without them and so am i. that i found you and now we even live together. please.❞

the talk had been going on for a good hour or so. jiseok was getting dizzy at this point while listening to jungsu and jooyeon. hearing hyeongjun calling out his name from the other room, he thanked all the dearest bunnies above, excusing himself and leaving the brothers alone.

jooyeon had been trying to convince jungsu to go and see their parents together. he himself had no clue why he wanted for that to happen. like, what on the earth were they supposed to tell them when they met each other? jooyeon even doubted, they remembered them. at least, he was almost sure, they didn't remember jungsu. or, didn't want to remember him.

he was so well aware of the fact that their parents had done a lot of bad things. sure, there were things that jungsu believed were true but they actually were not, because of his disease and jooyeon was totally not at fault for anything that had happened, but it was true that their parents were a little too biased and favored their younger child over the elder one.

jooyeon didn't know the reason behind it. was it just a pure favoritism, or was it because they knew jungsu was suffering from something horrible called schizophrenia and that was why they couldn't accept the fact that their son wasn't normal.

there was only one way to find out. and it was directly asking them. jooyeon was dying to know the answers.

jungsu on the other hand, was  rather skeptical about this whole meeting their parents thing. he moved on from that. he didn't consider them as his parents anymore. they hurt him, kicked him out just  to 'protect' jooyeon, just because he wasn't normal and he wasn't accepted.

and he knew, jooyeon was not at fault for any of this. it took quite a lot of time for the younger to make him believe what was wrong with him and the reason why he was seeing and imagining things  was exactly because of his disease. but jungsu ended up believing. and he knew now that jooyeon wasn't the one because of whom their parents hated him, nor he was trying to steal his friends away from him.

yes, it was fully just his parents who failed to be good ones, at least for jungsu. he had totally forgotten them throughout this time and he would never want to remember them ever again. he had found his real family now. he had his favorite people around him and that was all he wanted now.

he didn't want to even see his parents ever again. he would rather not. because he knew, he would get angry at them for all these reasons. for what they had done to him and for what they made him go through. but on the other hand, he would probably end up thanking them too. because they were the reason, why he met the people he considered as his actual family.

and a small, tiny little part of him did want to confront his parents. for everything they had done to him. he wanted to know the answer to the only question. why?

obviously, he never was going to actually ask them that. he didn't want to see them ever again. but jooyeon was too insistent. for whatever reason.

i still do not think that this is a good idea.❞ jungsu started slowly playing nervously with his fingers. ❝but okay. let's go and see them next week.❞ he knew if he told jooyeon to choose a day, the younger would not hesitate and say the next day. and jungsu needed to be prepared for it.

in every way possible.

what!?❞ jiseok's loud exclaim echoed in the living room they were in. jooyeon broke the news to them, saying that him and jungsu were going to see their parents.
