❝can we also ride that? but all of us.❞ hyeongjun pointed at a huge roller coaster and then looked at the five of them with pleading eyes.

they had been here since late afternoon. basically, since the festival had started. a band was playing in the middle of an amusement park and so many people were here. trying different rides and having fun. kids running around, parents talking and so on. there were so many people and all of them were having so much fun.

the six of them were also having a lot of fun. but for them, the real fun would start in an hour or so, when the sun would fully set and it would become darker. they would start playing their game. they could start earlier but none of them wanted to risk it. they could always wait for the perfect timing, which would be soon.

they had good amount of money with them, which was thanks to gunil and they all bought the tickets which was allowing them to spend the time there till the end of the festival, which was midnight, and try any rides they wanted.

till this very time, they all were walking together, riding different rides that would catch their attention, they sat near a small fountain, listening to the band.

and now, they were standing in front of a huge rollercoaster. trying to decide, whether to ride or not. hyeongjun wanted to, but jiseok was rather skeptical about it. jooyeon actually was scared too, but he knew he didn't have the right to say anything. he was just so happy he could at least tag along and spend time out after a few months.

❝i think we should give it a try.❞ gunil agreed to hyeongjun's statement and stood beside him.

clicking his tongue, ❝but if we go, we all should go. we agreed to that when we entered the park.❞ hyeongjun reminded them and it made jiseok roll his eyes. ❝are you scared?❞ noticing the elder's facial expression, hyeongjun turned to jiseok, teasing him.

❝me? no, of course not.❞ jiseok waved his hand, scoffing. ❝yeah let's go stand in the line.❞ he then added and was the first one to walk away, standing in the not so long line of people who were waiting to get on the rollercoaster.

jiseok didn't know who was he trying to impress or fool. he was obviously scared to ride a rollercoaster. he was never a fan of those big rides. he couldn't understand, why couldn't they just ride a carousel or something like that. it was fun and much more safe than this.

shaking his head, jiseok let out a small sigh and when the others approached him and stood behind him, he grabbed gunil's arm, pulling him closer to him. he was the eldest and his presence made jiseok feel safe somehow.

❝i'm sitting next to gunil.❞ jiseok announced, gripping the elder's wrist tighter, but not too tightly to hurt him. not like he could hurt him but still.

after a small discussion, seungmin ended up being in a pair with hyeongjun and jungsu was with jooyeon.

they took their seats quickly. gunil offered jiseok to hold his hand, which the younger accepted happily. while behind them jooyeon and jungsu sat in silence, with jooyeon literally dying already out of fear and jungsu stealing small glances from his younger brother, a hint of worry tinted in his eyes as he remembered, jooyeon being afraid of heights. and behind them were seungmin and hyeongjun with smiley faces, both of them being really excited for the ride (tag yourself i'm seungmin and hyeongjun).

jiseok gripped tightly on gunil's hand the moment they started going up. he already couldn't wait for the ride to be over. at this point, he thought hyeongjun just wanted for him to die.
