Sitting on the plane, I was excited to get home, well what I could call home. I was staying at Wesley's place for a bit until I found another flat to rent out.

When I left to go on tour with Wesley, I ended up selling everything I had and my apartment, save for a few things I could store at Juniper's place until I got back. I also had to find a job since I ended up leaving the one I had.

Wesley fell asleep as soon as the plane took off, and I was trying to write a to-do list for when I got back.

I couldn't figure out what else to put, so I put away the list, grabbed a book and started to read.

"Wesley, wake up. We've landed." I nudged him.

"Huh?" He mumbled.

"Come on, sleepy head."

We got off the plane and met John, another of Wesley's bodyguards who flew out early, at the gate, and went to the baggage claim.

Surprisingly, we were able to leave the airport without being noticed. We got in the car and John started the long drive back to Leicester.

---

We walked out of the elevator and I subconsciously walked across the hall towards my door.

"Arli, love, this way." Wesley called after me.

"Oh, uh, right." It didn't hit me until now that my flat wasn't my home anymore. Wesley was able to keep his flat because he was able to play for the months he was gone.

I was not able to.

Wesley unlocked the door, said goodnight to John, saying he'd see him later, and walked in.

"Come on Arli. It's late." I followed Wesley inside and he closed the door behind me. "Our things will get here later if that's what you're worried about." He grabbed my hand and smiled. "Good to be home, eh?"

"Yeah, it is." I said quietly, barely able to hear myself.

"Then why are you crying, love?" I didn't realize I was and I wiped my face.

"It's just... that's not my home anymore." I said, talking about my flat next door.

"Feels weird, right?" I nodded. "Trust me, I know all about that feeling."

"You're able to keep this place while you're gone though." I pointed out.

"Yes, but when I was younger we had to move a lot due to my dad's job. I moved right before the start of term each year, so I was always the new kid. We were lucky though, we never had to move in the middle of the school year," Wesley paused. "Come on, let's go to bed."

The next morning, Wesley had to meet up with his 'label people' as he called them, so I went to the shops and got some food and things.
