HTTYD Watches The Future (Movie, Shows, Etc.)

Chapter 1 The Theater

Astrid tucks her arms into Hiccup's vest, burying her chin into his shoulder. The moment is not lost on either of them. Hiccup smiles nervously. Toothless climbs past Berk's tallest peaks and heads out over open water, leaving the village lights behind them.

ASTRID: Alright I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... amazing. (beat) He's amazing.

Hiccup and Astrid were flying peacefully when they saw a bright flash of light and disappeared.

When Hiccup woke up he looked around and saw a bunch of comfy-looking chairs and a huge black box on the wall. Looking over to the left side of the room he saw the entire population of Berk groaning in pain and trying to untangle themselves.

Once everyone untangled themselves Stoick looked around confused and furious. "WHO BROUGHT US HERE?!"

Meanwhile in another room.

When Heather woke up she found herself in a room with five other people she didn't know.

The first thing Throk saw when he woke up was that Queen Mala was unconscious. Once he woke up Mala they looked around the room and saw three people they didn't know and a dragon hunter that they despised.

The first thing Dagur saw when he woke up was a girl that seemed familiar to him but he couldn't place it.

With the vikings.

"That would be me." The vikings all turned to the front of the room and saw a boy who looked a bit older than Hiccup. He wore a blue hoodie with the strike class symbol on it and black jeans. His face was covered by his hood.

"Who are you?" Hiccup asked making the vikings look at him. They almost forgot their prodigy was there.

"Great question. I'm General Kamil but you can just call me Kamil." Kamil said.

"Alright Kamil, why did you bring us here?" Stoick decided that now was the time to get some answers.

"I'll explain in a minute, I just need to bring a few more guests." Kamil said before he disappeared.

After introducing themselves Heather, Dagur, Viggo, Mala, Throk, and Atali decided to stay civil and find a way out rather than fight each other.

They were trying to find a way out when a door appeared out of nowhere and Kamil came through it.

"Who are you?" Viggo asked.

"I'm the person who brought you here. You can call me Kamil. Now come with me."

"Why should we? How do we know you won't kill us?" Dagur asked what everyone was thinking.

He chuckled quietly. "If I wanted to hurt anyone here." While his face was covered by his hood they could see his eyes starting to glow red. "I would have done so already." They decided to not further anger him and followed him.

"Alright, I'm back." The vikings turned in his direction and saw six more people. They also saw a baby Thunderdrum who was curiously watching them.

All the vikings started reaching for their weapons just to find them missing. "Where's my hammer?!" "My axe is missing?!" "Where are our weapons?!"

"Oh, I took them away. But don't worry about it you won't need them." Kamil said.

"What do you mean 'we won't need them'?! There's a dragon right there!" Stoick yelled while pointing at the baby Thunderdrum.

"Well, look to the right side of the room." Kamil said calmly while pointing to the right side of the room.

The vikings looked to the right side of the room and saw... every dragon from the nest.

"WHAT ARE THOSE DEVILS DOING HERE?!" The vikings were going nuts. Mala, Throk, and Atali were disgusted but Kamil told them about how the vikings hate dragons earlier.

"Who are you calling devils?!" An offended Nightmare asked stunning everyone.

Gobber was so shocked his hook fell off. "Did that dragon just talk?"

"Yeah, I gave the dragons the ability to talk. Anyway, I brought you here to watch the future." Kamil said as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

"The future?" A few vikings asked.

"That still doesn't explain why we're here." Viggo said while pointing to himself, Dagur, Heather, Mala, Throk, and Atali.

"Well, you're here because eventually, you are also part of that future."

"But why are those dragons here?!" Stoick asked still mad about being in the same room as all the dragons.

"Because the future also involves them. You see the first thing I'll show you is the end of the war between you and the dragons." That got the vikings to start whispering among themselves. Did they finally find the nest?

"So introduce yourselves and take a seat. The viewing will start in about ten minutes. Hiccup could you please come with me to the middle of the room?"

While the six new guests introduced themselves to the vikings Hiccup made his way to the middle of the room. Over on the dragon side, the dragons were talking about how the war would end. Would the queen finally die? A certain Night Fury was pretty sure he knew how the war would end.

"Now I know you probably have a lot of questions."

"Yeah, where's Toothless?" Hiccup was sure that his secret would eventually be revealed. This also made him think about Astrid. On their flight before they ended up here, she started to understand that dragons were not just mindless beasts. He hoped that she wouldn't sell him and Toothless out.

"Don't worry Toothless is with the other dragons." Kamil assured him.

"Ok, they're going to find out about him aren't they?" Hiccup asked concerned. Toothless was the only friend he had other than Gobber. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if Toothless got hurt because of him.

"You'll just have to watch and find out."

While Hiccup was worrying about Toothless Astrid was thinking about going over to where Hiccup was but decided that for now she would stay on the viking side and watch how things went from there.

Hiccup and Kamil were talking about Toothless when they were interrupted by Mala, Throk, and Atali who decided to sit in the middle with Hiccup rather than the rest of the vikings.

"Excuse me but could we sit here with you?" Atali asked politely.

"Yeah, sure." Kamil said while making three more seats appear.

"Thank you. I don't think I would be able to sit with those dragon killers" Throk said.

"Hearing them talk about how they kill those dragons makes me want to throw up." Mala said in disgust.

"You can say that again." Hiccup remembered how he wanted to throw up when his dad told him about his first kill.

"Why aren't you sitting with the rest of your tribe?" Atali asked. They were curious why he would want to sit alone.

"You'll see why." Hiccup said.

Fishlegs raised his hand. "Yes, Fishlegs?" "I was wondering how are we going to watch the future?"

"You see that black box on the wall?" Everyone nodded. "Your future will be shown on that screen, got it?" Everyone nodded again and with that, the viewing started.
