Just before the movie started Hiccup and those sitting with him could see Heather coming toward them. "Hi, I'm Heather. Could I sit here with you?"

Hiccup expected someone else to answer but to his surprise, they all looked at him. "Uh, Y-yeah sure, but wouldn't you rather sit with them?" He said while pointing at the other teens over on the viking side.

Kamil made another seat appear next to Hiccup which Heather took. "No, not really. Snotlout and the twins are a bit annoying and whenever I tried to talk to Fishlegs he just made this high-pitched noise and looked away. And that Viggo guy gives me the creeps." She shuddered at that last part before looking at him curiously. "Why are you so surprised?" That was something Atali, Throk and Mala also wanted to know.

He didn't really want to tell them how everyone always chooses the other teens over him and basically abandons him. "Uh, y-you'll see why." Atali, Mala and Throk might stay since they also don't kill dragons but Heather he wasn't sure about.

EXT. NORTH SEA/VILLAGE – NIGHT We skim above a dark, wild ocean. The camera turns toward a lone island, Berk. It is a gigantic shard of rock jutting straight out of the water.

HICCUP (V.O.) "This, is Berk."

"Oh, come on. Why does useless get to talk?" Snotlout whined. He was surprised when Heather left to go sit with his cousin but he knew that once she saw how useless he was she would come back to him. (I know there's nothing in the movies or shows about them being cousins but in the books they are.)

Most of the vikings agreed with Snotlout, they expected someone more viking-like to be the narrator. Hiccup just sighed and didn't say anything. He was used to it, Snotlout's words couldn't hurt him anymore.

Heather, Mala, Throk and Atali frowned. After seeing most of the vikings agree with Snotlout's statement they could guess why Hiccup would rather sit alone.

Toothless growled. So that was one of the vikings who made Hiccup's life miserable. The other dragons backed away from him slightly. The ones from the arena recognized his scent, one of the hatchlings from the arena smelled similar to the Night Fury.

"It's twelve days North of hopeless, and a few degrees South of freezing to death. It's located solidly on the meridian of misery."

Most of the vikings agreed with Hiccup, living on Berk was harsh. The few that didn't most notably Stoick thought. "It's not that bad, right?"

Mala raised an eyebrow. "Sounds like a great place to live." She said sarcastically.

"Yeah, It'll only cost you an arm and a leg." Hiccup said though it wasn't a joke since a lot of vikings did lose their limbs, Gobber being a prime example.

The camera drifts over rolling hills to reveal a small village nestled on an outcropping of sea mounts.

HICCUP (V.O.) (CONT'D) "My village. In a word, sturdy. And it's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new."

"Doesn't take a genius to figure out why that is." Spitelout said, glaring at the dragons who glared right back at him.

The camera drifts closer, circling.

HICCUP (V.O.) (CONT'D) "We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests."

Hiccup winced at his past self calling his best friend a pest. Those around him noticed the wince and wondered what it was about.
