Gemini reached for a watermelon-scented candle in a round crystal glass.  He lit it with a lighter, which he ultimately never handed to Rose, since they never saw each other again, and stared at the flickering flame.

He had only just got back here, had already talked to his mother and Dunk, whom P'Zee had sent out on a night patrol.  He couldn't stop worrying about Fourth, and he understood more and more why P'Zee was so nervous.  He didn't cry, he was too strong for that, but his heart was gripped by a grief he never wanted to feel and felt no one deserved to feel.

This one candle and a small desk lamp were the only sources of light in the whole room besides window, and the walls were danced with shadows cast by the branches of the great old tree outside, illuminated by two street lamps placed a little too close together.

Gemini thought about it.  He unknowingly placed the candle on the desk.  He didn't pay attention to anything around him, it seemed to him that he had suddenly become someone else.  His lips moved as if he were speaking, but no sound came out of his throat, as if he was still Heart.  He frowned.  He didn't realize that at that very moment, if any stranger looked at him, he might have taken him for a murderous criminal, because there was a real fire hidden in his gaze, the existence of which Gem had never suspected existed inside his soul.

Images he didn't understand flashed before his eyes.  They looked like memories, but they couldn't be.  Unless they were someone else's memories.

Gem saw a dark room, the only lights being the flames of at least twenty candles, and the silver light of the full moon shining through large pointed windows in the thick stone walls, falling directly on the naked body of a man.  In his vision, he looked up and was horrified to discover that the man lying naked on the cold stone floor was none other than his beloved Fourth.

Fourth had a split lip and was bleeding from several cuts on both forearms, his shirt on his chest was torn.

Gemini understood everything even before he heard these words.  Words that tore his soul in two, but also words that motivated him to act, that helped him discover the countless reserves of courage in his heart.

"Help me, she kidnapped me, that witch did it again, help me, she's the same person," a voice in his head begged.

The vision disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, as if something had broken the link between them, but now Norawit knew what to do.  He had heard from Gun and NuNew about the bond between twin souls, a bond that allowed one to find a loved one through magic.

He picked up and blew out the candle, placed it on the desk so carelessly that it fell to the floor, but he no longer paid any attention to it.  He ran out of his room without even closing the door.  He had to go to Gun Atthaphan and Off Jumpol first, I'm sure they'd know how to do it.  He ran straight to their office.  He stopped in front of a colorful door with a doormat that read "Pride." He raised his fist and knocked hard.  The echo of fist blows echoed through the empty corridor at that hour.  He didn't care if he woke anyone up, he didn't care about anything except for his beloved Fourth, who was in danger, he expected to see Off sleepy and rubbing his eyes at the door, but Gun opened it for him, dressed as if he was about to go out.

“Gemini?  Something happened?”

“Yes, I had a vision.  You were right about the soulmate bond, it really does exist and Fourth just used it to contact me.  I think it's in some old castle, there's no light so they use candles, the walls are... wait... what were the walls like?  Stone, I guess.  Yes, yes, stone walls, it must be some very old building.”

“Or a church?”

“Church?”

“Yes, European-style churches were often built of stone, had arched, pointed, large windows, usually decorated with colorful stained glass.  What was the place you saw like?”
