Y/N's POV
"I think it's great that we're helping the new kid, but we also need to think of our safety. I mean, he's bleeding all over and you guys do know there's an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak, right? My mom's friend in New York City got it by touching a dirty pole on the subway. And a drop of AIDS blood got into his system through a hangnail! A hangnail," Eddie exclaimed.

"Eddie please. The likelihood of someone having AIDS in this small town isn't as much as if we were in New York. Right now we need to focus on helping him. Also you should focus on other medical problems like rabies if you're so scared," I said rolling my eyes.

"Why'd you bring that up," Stan asked.

"He was irritating me," I shrugged as we made it into the alleyway. We got the boy to sit on one of those wooden milk crates that was just sitting there.

"And you can amputate legs and arms. But how do you amputate a wai- how do amputate a waist?! You guys do know that alleys are known for dirty needles that have AIDS, right? You guys do know that?"

"Eds not right now," I told him as the rest of us were looking at the boy. I was more concerned about how big the wound was.

"Ah, w-we're screwed. R-Richie, Y-Y/N wait here. C-Come on," he said and motioned to the rest of the group.

"Glad I got to meet you before you died," Richie said.

"Dude, you need help," I said to Richie then looked over at the boy, "what's your name?"

"Ben, and like they said, I'm the new kid," he told us.

"Who did this to you?"

"Henry Bowers."

"That trashy twat," I said under my breath. I then heard someone running, "please be the boys."

As I said that, they walked right up to us and Richie joked, "speak of the devils."

I took some of the bandaids and stuff from the guys then sat it down next to Ben. I sat down on the ground as Eddie crouched down next to me.

"Just suck the wound," Richie said as Eddie grumbled in response.

"I need to focus right now," Eddie snapped as he was trying to focus.

"You need to focus?"

"Yeah, can you go get me something," Eddie asked him.

"Jesus! What do you need!"

"The couple is fighting," I joked as I was looking at what kind of bandaid would be the best for the wound.

"Go get my bifocals! I hide 'em in my second fanny pack."

"You have two fanny packs," I asked him.

"Just something I need," he said with a shrug as he took his bifocals from Richie then put them on.

"Ben from soc," we all heard and turned towards the voice.

"You have to suck the wound before you apply the bandaids. This is 101!"

"Actually Richie, they say the dirtiest place on the human body is the mouth due to all the bacteria, both good and bad. They actually recommend to immediately go to the hospital if you get bit by someone."

"Why do you know so much about biting? First rabies, now with humans," Stan asked.

"I was curious."

We then turned back to the other conversation going on. "Oh no, I'm good. I just fell," Ben said.

"Yeah right into Henry Bowers."

"Shut it Richie," Stan told him.

"Why? It's the truth."

"You sure they got the right stuff to fix you up," she asked Ben.

"We'll take care of him. Uh, thanks again, Beverly."

"Sure, maybe I'll see you around."

"Yeah, we were thinking about going to the quarry tomorrow, if you wanna come."

"Good to know, thanks."

"Nice going bringing up Bowers in front of her."

"Yeah, you know what she did," Eddie said after he took off his bifocals, still focusing on Ben.

"What'd she do," Ben asked.

"More like, who she'd do. From what I hear, the list is longer than my wang," Richie exclaimed.

"That's not saying much."

"Anyway, they're just rumors," Bill told him. After he said that I just looked around at the first aid items we had left while Richie and Bill was arguing. I sighed as I helped Eddie patch up the wound completely.

"That should do it," I said as I stood up, "now what are we doing with the rest of the first aid stuff?"

"Well don't give it to me, I don't wanna end up going to the hospital and being questioned like crazy," Eddie told us.

"I'll just take it," Ben told us, "I might end up needing it while this heals."

"Good idea," Eddie said and then we all just went home after that.
