Y/N's POV
"That's not what I expected to miss," I said.

"You're not the only one who missed some of that," Beverly said with a soft smile.

"I guess there's somewhat of a silver lining."

"What's that," Mike asked.

"I didn't go missing alone and I didn't die. Sure felt like it though. I wonder if what I went through is what happens for people in comas."

"C-Can't your m-m-mom tell you," Bill asked.

"She can't," Eddie spoke up, "there's this thing called HIPPA that protects patient's privacy. You can't really say what a comas like without giving out some of that private information and she could get fired for that. Sometimes people actually get sued for it."

"You go to the hospital too much, Eddie spaghetti," I said with a laugh.

"Richie, did you tell her to say that!"

"Leave him alone, Eddie. Now's not the time to fight," Beverly said.

"Well I'm gonna ask an obvious question," Ben brought up, "are you guys okay? Physically? Cause obviously floating is not normal."

"Honestly, I don't even know. I think my body is probably in shock though so I won't feel anything," I said.

"I think I'm fine physically," Beverly said, "now mentally, that's a hell no."

"What do you mean," Mike asked.

"Putting it bluntly, I saw something. I'm not sure how to fully explain it since I can only really remember parts. I honestly thought I was dead. I saw us, all of us, in the cistern but as adults. Like our parents age type of adults."

"What were we doing?"

"I just remember how we were feeling. How scared we were. I don't think I can ever forget that."

I looked at her, somewhat happy that she didn't fully go through what I did.

"Swear it," Bill said after he picked up a piece of glass from the ground, "s-swear that if 'It' isn't dead. If it ever comes back, we'll come back too."

We stood up and looked at each other. I went to Bill and took the glass from him. I cut my hand then gave back the glass and spoke up, "I definitely swear to do so."

The rest of the group followed. We ended up joining hands and promised to come back. Stan told us he had to leave then told Bill that he hated him. I hope it was jokingly. Slowly, the group dwindled down to only 4 of us. Ben, Beverly, Bill, and I.

"I kind of want to mention what I saw when I was in that state. I want you guys to know but I don't want you to tell the others. Especially Stan and Eddie," I said.

"Why them specifically," Ben asked.

"Because it's about them," Beverly spoke up.

"W-Wait. W-What about t-t-them?"

I put my head in my hands, "when I was in that state, I saw how they died."

"I'm sorry, you saw what," Ben said freaked out.

"D-Do you remember w-when it s-seems to h-h-happen or w-what t-they looked like?"

"Just like Beverly said. We were our parents ages. We do end up coming back though. That's where Eddie dies."

"Wait. What about Stan," Ben asked confused.

"He wasn't there in the group. I then saw this type of image where he picked up a call then he slit his wrists."

"You really remember all of that? I wonder if that's because of the black eyes thing," Beverly said.

"I wouldn't be surprised if it was," I said, "it was terrifying to see. Especially Stan's. None of us were there to save him. We had no way to stop it."

"W-W-Wait so d-does that mean h-he's gonna d-d-do that no matter w-what?"

"I'm not sure if I'm gonna be honest. It was just something a 13 year old shouldn't see but considering what we've been through it feels like just a warning."

"That makes sense," Ben said, "well if Eddie's death happens when we're there then does that mean we could save him?"

"I hope so," Beverly says, "but I have a feeling that if we save him then someone else dies in his place."

"Talk about losing my mind," I said with a laugh, "I guess the only good thing out of this is finding lovers, ain't that right Bevvy?"

"Definitely," she says giving Ben a big hug while kissing his cheek.

"H-H-Hey, it looks l-l-like the street lights m-might be o-on s-s-soon. We should go."

"We should."

Bill and I left Beverly and Ben together as we biked home. We made it to the outside of my house and he kissed me again.

"I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Bill."
