Y/N's POV
I woke up and just sighed. I know the group of guys were going to what's considered the quarry and so is Beverly but honestly I don't know where it is since I just stay in the park or near the creek. I just stayed where I could see my paper boats go down a stream or watch as my paper airplanes just fly. Sometimes I bring out a kite to go to the park and just relax.I just decided to go down to the creek with a ton of paper boats and a bubble wand. Just to relax. I wore my bathing suit underneath my clothes, in case I fall into the water. I put the boats, bubble wand, a towel, and a water bottle in my drawstring bag.
My mom was at work by the time I decided to leave and I grabbed the key to the door. I went outside and locked the door then went to my bike and went to the creek. I smiled when I got there and set my bike down.
I pulled a boat out of bag and smiled, "time to float." I then sat the boat in the water and watched it go downstream. It was nice seeing how calm it was. Just floating down and not having a care.
"I wonder why he didn't officially invite me," I said to myself.
"Maybe because he doesn't like you," I heard. I looked around and saw something in a tree.
"W-Who are you?"
I saw it climb down and walk into the water, "they don't like you. They don't want you around. All you'll be is the weird girl who saw a young boy die."
I looked at what was in front of me and I was confused, "you're a clown?"
"I'm more than just a clown, Y/N," it said.
"And I'm more than just a weird kid," I said crossing my arms, "what's your name?"
"I'm Pennywise the dancing clown," it said.
"Interesting name," I said and sat down and grabbed a paper boat. Pennywise sat beside me, acting kind for no reason. I barely know who this person is.
"A paper boat," he said looking, "you like paper boats?"
"Yeah, I make them myself. Makes me feel better watching them float."
"You know, Y/N, you can float too."
"Not really. I'll just go to the local pool and 'float' there," I said, "closest thing I have. I can do the dead man's float fairly easily."
"Dead man's float," Pennywise asked.
"Just lying face down in the water with arms spread out. It's not hard to do. Plus I already have a swimsuit on."
"Sounds fun," he said. He then stood up and looked around, "I'll see you soon Y/N."
"Okay," I said as I pack up my items and head to the local pool. I went to the most open spot so I could set my stuff down. I took off my outfit, to just be in my swimsuit. I smiled as I looked down at the cherries. I got into the pool slowly and just waded around. My thoughts just doing the same thing. I looked around at all of the people. Most of them hanging out with their friends. I guess they didn't want me there. I decided I'd do the dead man's float for a bit, just bored. I took breaks so the lifeguards didn't lose their minds. I also just floated around on my back, looking at the sky. It was so bright with birds and butterflies fluttering around.
"To have friends who'd invite me places would be nice. I'm kind of just alone," I whispered. "I might as well not even be here if that's true."
I then just sat floating around. Wondering what would happen if I didn't talk to them or what they'd do if I was never around. They probably don't miss me right now. I got up and went back to where I put my stuff and sighed. Bill is so cute though so it's difficult to not wanna speak to him.
