Admiral Hipper huffed "I don't even know why you're even asking me, it's not like I date my own sister."
Albert continued. "I merely wished to be prepared. I have little knowledge of the places she likes to be other than her bar, and would like to know what she... Likes..." That was his reply, and as fumbled as it was, he was sticking to it.
Hipper walked around her greenhouse, looking at her flowers while talking to Albert. "...Did you try asking her yourself?"
Albert shrugged. "...There are many subjects on which your sister is not entirely forthcoming."
"Yeah, all I can tell you about that is that she has her reasons." After doing a check, she began to carefully pick out one of each of certain kinds of flowers. "All I can really tell you is that my sister does what she likes."
The junior officer sighed. "...That is also the extent of my knowledge."
Hipper then began carefully arranging the flowers that she picked. "I mean, I'm not sure that the commander knows more about her than you do, and if he does, he's keeping that to himself, too." She pouted. "I swear, no one tells me anything around here."
"I was a junior officer before becoming the commander's assistant. I have been in a similar position, and perhaps I still am."
Admiral Hipper then gave Albert the flower arrangement. "Okay, If you're going to date her, you should at least take this."
He blinked, and received it. "Does Prinz Eugen appreciate this as a romantic gesture?"
Hipper crossed her arms. "Either that, or she'll find it amusing. And considering what my sister is like, being funny to her might actually help you get closer than being romantic."
"I see." He looked around. "I will be going then."
Hipper shrugged. "Yeah, sure. Just be good to my sister, all right? I mean, I don't think you're the kind of person to break any rules, but I still feel like I have to say this sort of thing for some reason."
"I see." He said, understanding that at the end of the day, Hipper was Eugen's older sister.

Albert looked at his schedule. Now that Biloxi and Sheffield had been let loose in the criminal underworld of Southeast Asia, and Purifier was working with Yuubari and Marblehead on their next move against the Sirens, he was left with only his routine duties to take care of. And because of the way he handled his work time, that left him with an opportunity to explore other things that had occupied his mind: Namely, his relationship with the various ships that he had ended up in the orbit of.
He took a deep breath as he arrived at Eugen's bar. It had been a while since he had the sort of feelings towards women that would compel him to ask on a date, and those had returned with a furious vengeance when he came to Azur Lane. Suddenly there were these women who were not only interested in his welfare, but also curious about him, who he was, where he came from, and other things besides.
And the way things had turned out, there were a handful of women who took it on themselves to help him learn to love again, and what he even wanted out of love going forward. So... Why not date them all, and see what happened?
It's how he learned- Experimentation and analysis.
And now he was going to give that a try with Prinz Eugen.
As soon as he came to the entrance to the Iron Blood dorm in the early evening, though Prinz Eugen opened the door before he could... And she was wearing the clothes she wore to the Sakura festivities, the outfit she liked to pretend was a kimono or yukata but showed off far more than any traditional Sakura would probably be able to stomach. She smiled as she saw him there, holding the flowers. "Ah~ You brought those here for me?"
