A few days later...
Have you ever felt so let down by someone that you start feeling foolish for not recognizing all the obvious signs earlier?
It's been a few days since the whole debacle at the birthday party. Anna has been deeply affected by the incident, going through waves of emotions. One moment she seems indifferent, the next she's understanding, then blaming herself, followed by fits of anger and profanity, and then suddenly bursting into tears. She's been staying at my place since the day after the party, as she and Ricardo had a heated argument the entire night. I had asked Deno to give Zidane and Chin a ride back to Slys Village, while Raheem had dropped me home.
Raheem has sort of become my chauffeur when Ricardo is unavailable or, at the moment, unwanted. The water damage to my car's engine was extensive, so I decided to opt for a new engine instead of trying to salvage the old one. Unfortunately, there were no suitable engines available in Kingston or St. Catherine, so I had to import one, which is going to take some time. My car is currently at Raheem's mechanic shop, and his people are handling the repairs.
Aunty Marcy had come to take care of Brianna, who is staying with her, while Anna has been with me. Meanwhile, Ricardo is at home alone, or at least I hope so. He's been persistently calling and texting Anna, but she blocked him, so he started trying to reach out to me. I shut that down quickly.

He's been trying to explain himself, but Anna isn't willing to listen, especially since the woman-the one involved-along with her friends and family, started sending us disgusting threats through DMs. These messages were absolutely vile, even making terrible comments about Brianna. After the messages crossed the line with regards to the baby, Anna challenged the girl to a physical confrontation, but the girl didn't show up.
