"We have a deal, Gideon. I do these shows. You give me the amulet."
"I know, I know, precious. All in due time."
I walked out onstage, making sure I had my biggest smile on. "Ladies and gentlemen, how are you doing this fine evening?"
The crowd cheered. "Look at that. Gideon expected all of you to be here tonight. Look at that, Gideon, the stands are full. But I'm sure he saw that already. Introducing, the one of a kind Gideon Gleeful!"
The curtains opened. "Hello, America! My name is Lil' Gideon!" Birds flew out of his hair. "Ladies and gentlemen, it is such a gift to have you all here tonight! Such a gift. I have a vision. I predict you'll soon all say, 'Aw!'" Gideon pulled one of his crowd-adoring faces. "Hit it, Dan!"
I rolled my eyes as he started his musical number. I headed back to the trailer Gideon provided for me. His dad managed to convince his company to give Gideon an extra to add to the sweet offer. On one condition: I get the amulet.
All of his powers came from the amulet. I wanted to study it. Maybe add it to the thick journal I made to study the supernatural. I already took a picture of it and drew it to a real life scale. Gideon was even trying to use his amulet in shows. He was going to get overwhelmed by the power sooner than later.

I went out exploring one night. I needed to clear my head. All I had left was one day. One day, and I get to go home. No show, no amulet. No amulet, no discoveries. Without discoveries, I couldn't show anything to Dipper. All the patience and curiosity would be for nothing.
While I was walking, teal flashes came from a warehouse on a hill. I battled my body that was screaming at me to stop as I walked up the hill. A pink bike flew by me, the bell ringing frantically. I followed the bike, watching as a girl got off of the bike.
"(Y/n)!"
I got tackled. Then I realized it was my boyfriend's twin. I grinned as the girl got off of me. "What are you doing here?"
Don't reveal too much, I told myself. "Gideon hired me to open his show. Who's in there?"
"Dipper. And I think Gideon," Mabel explained, panting from the bike ride.
Mabel burst into the warehouse. I waited outside, ready to reveal myself to all of them.
"Dipper!"
I ran into the room. The amulet was in Mabel's hand. It floated into mine. Mabel grabbed on to me and I got us down, making sure we floated down to safety. I used the power of the amulet to make the boys float. I lowered Mabel to the ground first, then me. Dipper looked at me in shock.
"Listen, Gideon." Mabel got in his face. "It's over. I will never, ever date you."
"Yeah," Dipper agreed.
I made the amulet disappear, but actually slipped it into my pocket. It looked like it had shattered. Gideon looked at me in shock. He didn't know I knew how to use the amulet. I grinned, knowing Gideon was getting dethroned. He wasn't going to be psychic much longer.
"My powers!" Gideon exclaimed. "Oh, this isn't over. This isn't the last you'll see of widdle ol' me." Gideon disappeared into the forest.
I hugged Dipper immediately. Mabel gushed over us as he hugged me back. I frowned at his black eye. He was never really a fighter, even as we grew up and learned how to deal with bullies. I brushed aside his bangs and kissed his birthmark. Just like I did two weeks ago.
"I can't believe you're here," Dipper mumbled.
"Yeah, I'm here," I assured him. "And I might be able to stay with a family friend."
"Awesome!" Mabel hugged both of us.
I giggled, smiling at her. I was going to be with my two favorite people in the world.
