"We want to help people by spreading our products, which are only currently in America, through Europe." Elaine bargains, "A hundred million is a small price to pay for that."

I watch the man in front of me cautiously. He leans forward in his expensive suit, hands entwined. He opens his mouth to say something but I beat him to it.

"In all honesty, Mr Smith, a hundred million won't even cover the expenses needed for product manufacturing. Especially if we're talking distribution through the whole of Europe." Elaine shoots me a glance, it's both confused and impressed.

"Alright, if we were to purchase your products for distribution, what is the lowest price you'd be willing to do it for." He inquires, picking at the sleeve of his dark blue suit. He seems new to the whole business industry and so I intend to use it on my favour.

"Three billion."

"Three billion!" He sputters, attempting to throw a bunch of excuses at me.

"Mr Smith, our company has to cover production expenses, transport expenses and pay our workers for possible overtime. The entirety of our working hours for the next few months will be dedicated to this cause." I explain calmly, as if I'm not ripping him off a couple billion. "The total should be a few hundred billion."

"Christ." He pauses as if thinking about it, "Let me call a few people. I'm under assumption that your product validity has been approved already?"

"Yes it's done, sir." I say, pulling out the one power play I am familiar with from spending countless hours defending Elaine from Richard Rusk in their board meetings. Make them think they're in charge - even if you already have them biting the bait.

He pulls out his phone and leaves the room, pacing back and forth outside the glass window. Elaine turns to look at me, buttoning up her shirt a little more as she realises the lack of need of flaunting her cleaveage as usual. "I'm impressed."

"Don't be. We still have a long way to go." I say, addressing the slightly disheartened and proportionally disheveled man outside the window. He really hoped to get this cheaper, I can tell, but the expenses are legitimatelly high. He walks back in and by the look on his face he took the bait and is being reeled in faster than a cheetah can run.

"We'll take it." He says shaking both our hands.

"Thank you sir. You won't regret this." I hold my composure but Elaine's eyes are blown wide and a huge grin is on her face. "We'll be in contact with details and final touches soon."

As soon as we make it out the building Elaine plants her hands around my neck and starts spinning us around, her skirt showing the movements of her hips. "You're a fucking genius Y/N! You just ripped him off two and a half billion, son of a bitch!"

I laugh at her excitibility as she stops spinning in my arms, face undeniably close to mine. My hands on her hips is indescribably lovely. "I could totally kiss you right now." She continues, the beautiful grin still plastered on her face, eyes shining brighter than the amount of money we just made.

"Oh come on, a date first Miss Markinson." I muse, allowing her to guide us back to the black SUV. We just made a hell of a lot of profit.

"I suppose I do owe you after the whole airport fiasco." She says as we finally drive off. I guess remaining by Miss Markinson's side was profitable after all.
