"The movie wasn't even that scary L/N." Lesso muses, smirk playing on her lips as she turns off the projector and begins to move the empty glasses of wine from the table. I shoot her a look of despair and make sure she also knows I am not convinced in any way shape or form that she did not find that scary.

"Yeah, it wasn't." I reply, hoping to hide the bone chilling fear I'm experiencing through sounding confident and unbothered. I don't think it works as she raises an eyebrow and continues on with her task.

"Really? Then why are you shaking so much?" She indicates to my body, trembles shuddering down my skin repeatedly.

"I'm cold." I mutter from the layers of blankets I'm already engulf in. At first I really was cold, then it turned into a matter of - every inch of my skin must be covered. She smirks victoriously at me. "Don't look at me like that, I really am cold and you know it."

Holding her hands up in defeat, I emerge from my safety and start to fold all of the blankets up, returning them to their respective positions before cleaning the snacks left on the table and putting anything salvageable into the staff room next door. Lesso stands waiting for me in the doorway, slender figure leaning seductively as she watches me work. "You don't have to wait for me Leonora."

"I thought I'd walk you to your room considering you are shitting yourself after watching fiction." I try not to smile but fail and she starts to laugh. I turn off the light and jab her in her ribs as I walk past, listening to her close the door after me. She throws her arm over my shoulders as we walk through the barren hallways, "Since when were you into the horror genre anyways? I thought romance was more your thing."

"Since I found out my girlfriend, as much as she hates being called that, was only watching romance for me." I smile up at her, observing as her pretty face crinkles into amusement. "It seemed only fair we watch both."

"Well she appreciates it, and she doesn't hate being called your girlfriend." We come to a stop outside my door and I wish her goodnight. I brush my teeth and climb into bed, suddenly extremely aware I am alone in my room without Lesso by my side. The warm air grows cold as I shrink under the covers, masked killers and creepy dolls becoming the forefront of my mind. I try to block it out by closing my eyes but it only makes my mind race and the faces more clear.

I toss and turn, sweat and fear coating my body as I lie in silence, the only sound my heavy breathing. Knocking sounds harshly on my door and I freeze, blood turning to ice. They knock again, quieter this time as if they remembered how late it is. I stay where I am as the sound of a lock being picked resonates through my room.

The air stills as my door creaks open in the soundless night. I shuts with as little force as it opened with and I feel my bed dip behind me, covers that pooled on the floor: raised to house a new figure as the cold air blooms on my skin. I gasp.

A cold kiss is pressed to the back of my neck and arms wrap around my waist as they settle in behind me, body pressed firmly against mine. "It's just me baby, I felt bad leaving you to sleep alone after making you watch that." I relax to the sound of her voice vibrating against my jaw, her kisses trailing along. I turn to face her and press my lips to hers.

"Or are you scared?" I tease as if fear had not gripped me seconds before.

"Maybe it was both." She shrugs, sections of her face dimly lit by the moon. "Either way you can sleep now, I'm not leaving and tomorrow we can watch a sappy romance to compensate." She pulls me close again, pressing her cool lips against my own sweetly. I sigh contently allowing her tongue to slip into my mouth, dancing with my own.

I roll on top of her figure, arms wrapping around her neck and entwining with her hair, hers finding my waist and jaw as she keeps my lips on hers. She pulls away with a sigh and I lay on her chest, breathing in her scent. "We can watch as many horrors as you want, as long as you stay the night after."

"Sounds like a great deal." She relaxes into me, "Goodnight baby, sleep well."
