29. An Apology 🧳

(Liliana's Pov)
March 31st
School starts on April 3rd, so I have four days left of spring break.

But Lucas, and Amelia are coming over today.
I'm super stressed out.

"I might have an attack." I said.
I haven't had an attack since Lucas hurt me.

But I feel off today.

"No you won't." Said Draco.
He ran out of the living room.

My mom laughed.
"That boys interesting." She said.
"Believe me I know." I said.

"You like him?" She asked raising her eyebrows.
"Mommmm, nooo." I said.

"Hmm, he sure likes you." She said.
"Mom we're just friends. And we hated each other months ago." I said.

"I think you like him." She said.

Draco came back with a glass of ice.
"Here, hold one." He said.

He took a piece of ice out, and placed it in my hand.

"How's this gonna help?" I asked.

"I've been researching how to help with anxiety. The coldness of the ice triggers some sort of neurotransmitters." He said.

"Researching?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.

The ice melted in my hand, and I did oddly feel a bit calmer.

"So, did it work?" He asked.
"Pass me another one." I said.

His face lit up, and he passed me another piece.

"Why do you think you're gonna have an attack?" Asked my mom.

"It's just, Lucas and I aren't dating anymore.
I don't want things to be awkward." I said.

(Draco's Pov)
Hours passed, and I've been with Liliana all day.
I understand why she's so scared.

She has to be in the same house with a guy who's physically hurt her.

I'm scared too. What if he says something and I murder him? I'm too young to go to Azkaban.

The doorbell rang, and she gasped.
"It's okay, I won't let you out of my sight."

I opened it, and saw Lucas, and Amelia.
"Bye!" Yelled Amelia's mom from her car.
Amelia waved, and they stepped inside.

"Make yourself at home." Said Liliana's mom.
They walked in, and Liliana grabbed my hand.

"Where are we sleeping?" Said Lucas.
"We can put a mattress down in Liliana's room.
You guys can organize how you wanna sleep."
Said her mom.

(Liliana's Pov)
My mother pulled me aside, and Lucas and Amelia headed upstairs.

"Is that okay? I know you and Lucas don't wanna sleep together, and I don't know how Draco, and Amelia would feel sleeping with him.

So I figured if you're all in the same room it'll be okay." She said.

"Yeah that's fine." I said.

I went upstairs, and Draco walked with me.
We went to my room, and they were settled in.

"How are we sleeping?" I asked.
"You and Draco can sleep together, I'll sleep with Lucas." Said Amelia.

"You sure?" I asked.
"It's fine. I know you won't, and Draco won't want to either." She said.

"You're talking about me like I'm not right here." Said Lucas.

"Shut the fuck up man. You know why no one wants to sleep with you." Said Draco.
