vee's pov:

I just got off the phone wit nana and she wants me to be the first to know the gender. And im basically setting up the baby shower for tmrw. The appointment to find out the gender is at 5:00 pm rn it's only 2 o'clock so im good. I decided to go online and find a building I can rent out for the baby shower. 

After an hour of looking for the perfect place I found a building with a beautiful room that I was gonna rent out for the baby shower. I'm getting so excited over this. I called the man who's renting out the area. I ended the call and got dressed. "ddot!!" I yelled he came waling in eating a bag of Doritos "wassup mami" he said looking at me smiling "I'm abt to go to the doctor's office to find out the gender of nana's baby" I told him picking out clothes for me to wear "ohh so ur gonna be the first to know that it's a girl and u abt to have our baby sooooon" he teased getting in my face "ewww yo breath stinkksss" I said backing up "stop playin wimme vee" he said rolling his eyes I took my clothes and walked into the bathroom.

I just got out the shower and it's now 3:30 I did my skin care and brushed my teeth then got dressed. I added a little bit of makeup and grabbed my keys, purse, and other stuff. "bye ddot I'm outtt" I said as I opened the front door "waittttt" he said running up to me "lemme go wit uuu" he said out of breath "fine but ur not gonna know the gender til the baby shower" I said looking at him then walking out the door "yeah yeah wtv" he said brushing me off. we grabbed food on the way there and listened to music. by the time we got there it was 4:42 so we were early. 

We hopped out of the car and walked into the hospital "hellooo I'm here for the ultra sound for Nariyah Bennett" I said smiling at the lady behind the counter. she started to type on her computer then looked up "umm okay maam seems she's not here yet the appointment is at 5:00 and it is currently 4:48 so If u could sit down over there please" she says smiling at me and pointing to the waiting room. me and ddot walked over to some chairs and sat down waiting. After 10 mins nana didn't show up which was weird so I decided to call her "nana where u at pooh it's almost 5" I said into the phone "oh uhh were coming in now we had a little trouble but were on our way in rn check in for us please" she said sounding like she was running "I got u" I said hanging up andwalking back up to the lady "uhh hi Nariah Bennet and David Reyes are on their way in could u please check them in please" I said smiling and looking at her "alrighttt when they get here they will be in room 209 ok" she said looking up from her computer through her thick glasses "okay thank you ma'am" I replied walking back to ddot 

"okay so nana and dd r on there way up and they will be in room 209" I told ddot he just nodded and a few seconds later dd ran in and nana wobbled in. "were herreee we made it woooo" nana said smiling and waddling towards us "finally.. yall r in 209 lessgo" I said grabbing nana's hand. We walked to the room and I helped nana lay down on the bed. We waited and soon after a doctor walked in pulling gloves over her hands "hello were here for Nariah Bennett correct?" she says hooking up some machines "yep that's mee" nana says chuckling. the doctor nodded and pulled her shirt up "well I'm doctor price and I will be your doctor from now until you have your beautiful baby" she said smiling at nana. she nodded and Dr. Price began her work

"alright and who will be the one to receive the gender paper" Dr.price said walking abck into the room with a white piece of paper "oh that would be me" I spoke up stepping towards her "alright well here u go and you guys are free to leave at any time enjoy your afternoon" she said smiling and walking out the room. I looked at everyone as they staired at me "what can I have my face back damn" I said jokingly rolling my eyes "read da damn paper dick" dd said putting his hands on his hips SASSY AHH I peek at the paper and my eyes widen.
