Vee's pov:

todays the day of the baby shower and I've been working my butt off, and the place looks amazing. ddot's been begging me to tell him the gender but I kept my mouth shut. I did a final walk around and the place looks great. Now all I have to do is pick up the cake and balloon. I called nana to let her know to get ready then headed out. I went to the cake shop first "hi hello umm I'm here to pick up a cake order for a Nariah Bennett" I said the man behind the counter nodded and turned around and walked to the back. He came back with a white box I checked the cake before leaving and it was wayy better than how I pictured it to be "thank you so much have a good day" I smiled walking out. I sat the cake in the backseat n drove to the balloon place I walked in and went straight to the counter "hello I'm here for the pickup for Nariah Bennett" I tell the man behind the counter "the uhhh 2 gender reveal balloons?" he asks I nodded my head, and he went to the back. He told me the gender to make sure it was right n it was, I then left and headed back to the baby shower bc ppl should be arriving soon.

I made it back and set the cake down and then set up the balloons in the corner. I quickly ran to the bathroom and fixed up my hair and makeup then walked out. I saw people arriving so I greeted them as they walked in and showed them where to put their gifts. about 10 minutes later dd and nana walked in "u guys are late.. here" I say handing them each a sash one that says mother and one that says father. then I took out my phone and told them what to say "hey im the mother and I think you're going to be a boy" nana said smiling into the camera "wassup lil dude im da father n I know u finna be a boy ima have a mini me" dd said smiling hard into the camera I stopped the recording and walked up to ddot "bae its your turn"

After I got everyone's predictions we started playing games and the prizes were so good u could win a tv, gift cards, cruise tickets and more. we then ate and just talked for about an hour "May I have everyone's attention. We are now going to do the gender reveal" I say grabbing the balloons. "if it's blue ur having a boy if it's pink ur having a girl... oky dd??" I said looking at him. i handed each of them a balloon then went to grab the pins so they can pop the balloons. I came back and handed it to them not even two seconds later dd managed to poke himself. He started bleeding "how tf-" I said rolling my eyes "can somebody please get this dumbass some paper towels" I say as I walked to the first aid kit grabbing a band aid 

We got dd cleaned up "please don't stab ya self again we tryna see what the gender is gd" Eva said slapping her hands to her side. I laughed and they popped the balloon 

Everyone cheered and clapped their hands and congratulated dd and nana. "I TOLD U IT WAS GONNA BE A....."
