Next morning.
The phone under her pillow jerks me awake as it starts going off from an incoming call. It goes silent before I hear her voice in a whisper but not enough that I can't hear.
"Hi, good morning?" if I move now she will know I am awake and I don't want her to be the first thing I see so I'll give her time to leave the room before I can get up. "I'm fine...No I wasn't alone P'Sun came over" Yeah right. I slide my arm away from her waist, turning to the other side. The bedcovers move before I feel her sliding off the bed. "Probably later in the day, Nudee has a job she needs to do before we get back together." I can no longer hear her voice I open my eyes.
P'Sun.
I'm now P'Sun? fantastic. Seconds later I hear a door open and close and his loud voice making its way to my ears. He reduces his voice when she tells him I am asleep. Then they are back at whispering aside from his random laughs.
Bidding my time wisely I hear Engfa mention something about a shower and I know that's my chance to go, forget brushing my teeth I don't want to see her. Hearing her voice first thing in the morning is already enough for my mental health.
When I make my way out of the room, P'Sun is making breakfast. "Good morning" he spins around giving me a toothy smile.
Picking my stuff, I left out and making sure I don't leave anything behind. "Morning, how did you sleep." When I look up his holding back his laughter. "message received. Anyway breakfast is almost ready come sit-down."
"P'Sun I have to go to my place and shower and..."
"She got you a spare tooth brush."
"So that I can be wondering if she rinsed it with toilet water? No thanks." He just laughs and turns back to flip the eggs. "And thank you for letting me stay."
"I didn't do anything."
"Please, someone convinced her to let me stay otherwise I wouldn't have known she was even here."
When he turns around I know what he wants to say, but I shut him down so that we don't get heavy. He walks up to me and throws his hand around me pulling me into a warm hug.
"We miss you." The log that was building at the back of my throat is starting to grow.
"See you when I come to Bangkok."
Squeezing my arm, he finally let's go and I walk out of the door. Stopping in my trucks to smell my breath. Doesn't smell that bad.

"Will she be anywhere near this place?"
"P'fa comes down to the studio once a blue moon," P'Van says, helping me set up a few things. I am scheduled to do this for two days. Today will take pictures that are going inside the magazine and tomorrow they focus on the image they will have on the front page.
I've never been to this place, it's so Engfa, fresh and artistic and just beautiful. I bet this is how her brain looks like inside.
Stepping onto the light, posing left and right. Having the makeup artist touching my face at every chance they get. I have never done this intense photoshoot. Always kept it behind the curtain. When I take pictures with the model it's not like this because our focus is the model and the clothes they are wearing.
Sometimes I forget how tiring this process can be, especially if they are not getting what they want. It's been three hours. Three hours and they look like they are not getting the right look from me. And I hate having to delay people.
Suddenly as I am laying on my back, in a night dress lingerie. My skin starts to burn, it starts on my neck and then trailing downwards. She's watching me. The thought makes my body rigid and I sense it in the photographers look when she sighs.
"That's enough for today." Her voice calls from around the corner just behind the monitor. I see her say something to P'Van and the photographer before they leave the room. The others already dipped as soon as they got the green card.
I guess I can go home.
"What is it?" scanning my eyes around the room checking to see if she is talking to someone else because her eyes were not on me. She is setting up something on the computers and then picks up the camera.
"Is there a problem?" it comes out a little hasher than intended.
"I'm not the one who turned a two-hour secession into five hours." It's four hours twenty minutes. "So again what's the problem?"
"nothing."
"Okay take a sit on the bed then."
Wait. She's the one taking the photos? She's walking up to me adjusting the lenses. Why can't she just look at me. I slump on the bed and when I look up I meet her eyes, a ghost smile playing across her lips.
She keeps looking at me like there is something on my face I'm getting nervous. "What?" Leaning closer to me, I start to lean backwards on the bed, when I am on my elbows she stops. "You could have just told me to lean back."
"Where is the fun in that." Snap. Allow the girl to be camera ready will you? "Look at me." Snapping my eyes in front of her, she smiles and I am anxious to see her full dimpled smile. And I think she senses it because she breaks into a huge smile. SNAP, SNAP, how are those cheeks so captivating. Where did she sign up to get four dimples, it should be a crime? "Charlotte?" her eyes, are they... is she leaning... I'm holding her cheeks. Oh my goodness, I pull away moving backwards on the bed. I am laying on the pillows now.
The Chuckle she lets out is dark and suspicious. She sits on the floor, telling me where to move while starring at her profile. "Touch the hem of the dress and hike it up a little while lifting your leg." My fingers gently graze against my thigh sliding the material up. "Hold, look away and run your hand in the hair.... now look at me" SNAP.
She pulls the camera down, eyes glued to my legs then back up. She gets up and mounts the Camera on the tripod. The temperature in the room is starting to shift. She starts adjusting the lights and I get lost in watching her. Laying on my stomach, a pillow under my chin as I scan her across the room.
Does she ever button up her shirts or am I just catching her on these specific moments? When she pulls her phone out and starts smiling I find myself biting my lips enjoying watching her smile.
Why am I still here?
"Hey are we done?"
She glances up for a second, "yeah see you tomorrow." Was she even going to tell me. When I get off the bed she walks to the camera, picks it up and goes to sit behind the computers. Pulling on the robe my assistant left behind for me, I cover myself and walk to stand behind her. She's starring at an image I didn't pose for.
When did she take this?
