-THIRD PERSON POV-

When they got to the bar everyone had sort if dispersed into different corners of the room. Zach went up to the counter and ordered some vodka. He wanted something hard to get through the rest of the night. He just wanted to get drunk and get away from it all. Nick went to one of the booths with his laptop and a mug of beer. All Nick could think about was getting ready for the lockdown tomorrow. He was sick of all this drama and ready to get down to business. Kat and Aaron picked a table by the front and ordered some nachos and brandy. Shelly sat by herself near the bathroom. She was too busy thinking about what Aaron said to drink her Bloody Mary. She couldn't believe that he liked her! She kept going over the conversation in her head.

"Ever since we showed up at you board shop I knew I liked you. You're so laid back and mature about things. I need someone like that in my life. To keep me grounded." He had said.

"Are you sure? We've only known each other for a day. I mean, I feel the same way, but I'm still trying to figure out if this is real or not." Shelly had said. They had both gone on for a little bit like that, just expressing their love for each other. Aaron was so happy to know she felt the same way about him. He was too happy to notice that she wasn't. Shelly was worried that the love would fade. She believed that they only felt this way because they were new people. In one of her psychology classes she learned that sometimes people confuse their feelings of excitement of seeing a new face or love. She really hoped this wasn't the case. She really liked Aaron. But now, sitting in this bar, she wasn't so sure. She didn't know anything about him after all. And he was sitting with Kat and not her, which meant that he either wasn't sure about his feelings either or he was talking about Shelly, which he was. All he had done since they got to the bar was talk about Shelly and how much he loved her. He hash even touched his drink. And Kat had to sit and listen patiently until he stopped. She didn't want to look like he was boring her. Even though her leg had an itch, which in this case is weird because its on the leg that isn't there. Kat was told that this would happen because of nerve memory. She would still feel her foot itch and her knee twitch even when it didn't. Finally she had had enough.

"Aaron,"she interrupted Aaron in the middle of one of his tangents about how beautiful Shells eyes were. He stopped and blushed a little.

"Was I rambling?" He asked. He knew he was. He hated when he did that, and so did the guys. If Aaron ever got exited about something he wouldn't stop talking about it for days. The guys wouldn't want to tell him what he was doing though. They always felt bad to see Aaron embarrassed.

"Yeah you were, but it's okay. It's cute how much you're into her. I just think you you should tell her this," Kat said gesturing to Shell all by herself. Aaron blushed even more when he realized that he had left the love of his life alone in a bar. He excused himself from Kat and walked over to Shelly, smiling the whole way. Now that Kat was alone she could finally do what she had been wanting to do. She bent down and frantically scratched at her fake leg. In hind sight she knew it was stupid to, it wouldn't really itch anything, but it helped her out. She sat back up and slouched in her chair a bit. She could finally relax a bit after that fight with Dick at the skatepark. She had no idea who was about to walk past the bar and see her. She had no idea that he was carrying a knife and that he was looking for revenge. She did, however, notice that Zach was downing his third glass of vodka. Zach was starting to away in his stool. Zach hadn't drank enough to be wasted, but enough to be slightly drunk.

"Bartender, hit me again," he grumbled. The bartender poured him another glass and handed it to him, the while time keeping one eye on him to make sure he wasn't doing something he would regret later. Bit he would. Because at the moment Dick walked I to the bar and up to Kat, pushing her to the ground and throwing down her drink shattering the glass all around her.

"What the hell?!?" Kat screamed. Zach heard the commotion and stumbled to Kat's side. He saw Dick and growled at him, giving him the nastiest look he could. It didn't even faze Dick.

"Ohh, poor baby needs her daddy to take care of her problems? Hey bro, why don't you let the bitch fight her own battles," Dick mocked. He had no idea who this drunk guy was and what he was doing with is ex, but he knew he could take him down. If he even tried to touch Dick he would get a blade the the chest.

"Look you little shit! You need to leave Kat alone before you get hurt!" Zach roared. Zach got up and noticed Dick reach for his pocket. He knew he had a knife on him and that he no longer had the upper hand. Plus he was drunk, he couldn't even think straight. Zach picked Kat up and swayed his way over to Nick, shoving her in the seat across from her.

"You stay here," Zach slurred.

"Why don't you stay out of this! It's none of your business if I fight him or not!" Kat screams. She pushes Zach and he lands on his back. Kat looks down at him with admixture of pity and hatred. This man, who she has barely come to know, is trying to protect her from something that he knew nothing about. She was confused. Why did Zach do this? Why did he try to help when all he dies is hurt. Kat's thoughts were interrupted by a hand smacking her face, swiping her nose. Kat screams in pain, holding her nose and backing away. Dick makes another swift move to get and swipes Kat's hand with his knife. Blood pours down her arm and drips off her elbow. Another move and Kat is on the floor gasping for air. A few people in the bar leave but most of them try to keep away from the crazy man with a knife. No one wants to get involved. Except of course for Zach. He leaps at Dick and tackles him to the ground. The knife falls out of Dicks hand and slides across the floor. The two evenly drunk men roll around on the floor trying to pin each other down. At this point the bartender jumps over the bar and attempts to break up the fight. He peels the two men off of each other and shoves them to opposite sides of the room.

"You two either need to take this outside or stop! I will not have a fight in my bar!" The bartender yells. Zach decides that he has had enough of this and agrees. He gets up and walks calmly over to nick and Kat to sit down. He stumbles a bit and Kat rushes over to catch Zach. In doing so Dick sees his chance at revenge and grabs the knife next to him. He thrusts himself outward and digs his knife into Kat's leg.
