Why does our love become drought on a rainy day?
Why did you ever walk away?
You told me forever you'll stay,
And I have to say,
It's all right and be okay.
Even though our lily of the valley
Becomes tilted and dried like hay.
Why does our rainbow turn into gray?
God knows we've tried to fly and replay,
And the parquet,
Is now turning into a highway,
You told me together we'll run and be away,
From the empty street to the calm pathway,
Into the crowded beach and back to the lonely bay,
To feel some feels not astray.
Why should we ever call it a day?
The why's in May,
Is walking home alone like it's Sunday.
We could have been like a summer's 'Hooray!'
Why we should ever begin again like spring or heyday?
But I'm still here and pray,
To write your name and to lay.
I remember when you faded me away becoming just a friend, and yes I still wanted to stay,
Because I know my place,
Just to look up into your eyes and face,
As beautiful as carnations and Jasmine's bouquets,
These whys from our May
Are still left unanswered, waiting for you to say a word.
I wish you stay for these whys to finally unfold.
I'm in cold,
Go on be free forevermore my bluebird.
