I walked back to my side of campus when my phone buzzed.
Stalker: Dinner tonight. My treat. Stalker: Nothing fancy, you have no choice ♡
I smiled at the phone, She's so much bolder than most girls.
"So are you asking her out yet?" Joshua asked, running a hand through his blonde hair.
"No, we're just friends" I sighed I want to ask her out, I want to call her mine but I just want to get to know her first.
"Just friends? Okay Gyu, if you say so"
Sitting through lectures felt like hell, I kept checking for messages from Hwa, but there was nothing.
She's busy, you saw what the department head did.
I shuddered at the thought.
I couldn't pay any attention to the lecture all I could think about was yesterday, holding her tiny body in my arms, comforting her, her kissing my cheek. I wanted to dance with her again.
I kicked Joshua's leg under the table "That's for making me leave early last night" he winced.
"It was an emergency!" He whispered, I rolled my eyes.
"Well it costed me a kiss" I blurted out, "she must be pissed"
The bell sounded and we got up.
"Wait you kissed her!? Just friends huh?" He teased.
"Almost kissed her but your phone call interrupted and messed shit up"
Yes. I was pissed. No, It wasn't his fault.
"Well you get a redo tonight so it's fine"
The rest of the day was a blur, I had to avoid half of my friends to stop them from coming to help me find something to wear, and now I'm sitting on my bed trying to figure out what nothing fancy means.
"Just wear something casual. Jeans and a t-shirt" Joshua groaned.
"But what if that's too not fancy and she thinks I didn't wanna go?" I realise how childlike I sound but it's a valid question.
Joshua was now going through my phone, "oh! There's a message from her"
Stalker: address?
He typed the address in and sent it to her.
Stalker: Cool, I'll be there in five. Stalker: Bring a jacket. Stalker: DON'T OVER DRESS!
I panic. It's not a very manly sight. Joshua finds it amusing to see me like this "Gyu! You're down bad"
I throw a shoe at him and settle on blue jeans and a white tank top.
I hear a honk outside
Stalker: I'm outside 😁
I grab a jacket (as instructed), my wallet and keys then head down. Joshua running in front of me.
"Mrs Stalker!" He shouted at her
"I guess that's me" she laughed a soft embarrassed laugh "Is he ready to go? Or is he still making himself pretty for me?" I hear her ask Joshua.
"He's done, Listen, have him home by two and use-" I flicked his head before he could finish his sentence.
I look at her blue jeans and lime-knitted sweatshirt thing. Her dark hair flowed over her shoulders with small beaded plaits in it.
"Stop drooling" she smiled coming over, she hugged me. Her coffee-vanilla scent even stronger now. "oh shit, wait" She ran to the passenger seat of her Jeep and came back with a small bunch of flowers, tulips. "Flowers for my date" she smiled, clearly very proud of herself. I took the flowers and smiled.
"You're so cheesy" I hand Joshua the flowers "Let's go before he asks to come" I walked to the car but she bolted passed me. She opened the door with a huge grin on her face "Why thank you" I got in, she was enjoying this, and it was cute.
Her tiny self got into the driver's seat and we were off.
"So... where are we going?" I asked noticing the GPS was off.
"If I tell you, it ruins the surprise" She looked over at me, she had make-up on. Her usual pink cheeks slightly more blush-shy? I'd have to ask my sister about it at some point. "Okay, we'll be there in like ten-ish minutes. I'm telling you in advance it's nothing fancy" she said watching the road.
The way she drove was so sexy, like she didn't have a worry in the world I rolled my window down and turned the music up.
She looked so beautiful, the wind blowing her hair, her dark eyes covered by sunglasses as she sang along to every song that came on.
I took out my phone and stole a quick picture of her.
The car ride didn't have a lot of talking, but it was easily one of the best drives ever. We vibed to music, I teased her singing, and even made a car vlog for her.
"Well... here we are" She pulled onto the beach front up to a little section I assume she set up.
It was perfect. Casual. Comfortable.
"Cheapskate" I mock.
"Call an Uber and leave then" She stuck her tongue out and went over to her boot.
I assumed she was taking out chairs and took a second to make sure I smelled okay.
I was sweating.
"Hey, princess-" did she just call ME princess!? "You actually have to get out of the car for us to barbeque and... you know... talk" She was so sassy.
I went to her and helped start the fire when I looked up at the Jeep and saw it.
Pillows and blankets were laid out in the trunk. "Tadaaaaaa" she laughed. "This is one of my favorite spots"
She brought me to one of her favorite spots!
We grilled the meat, she stole some from the heat "What? I'm hungry" she huffed, eating the hot meat. "Quicklyyyyy Gyu Mingyu or we'll miss it!" I took the last piece off the grill and she pulled me to the boot.
"Miss what?" I sat next to her and watched her open a beer.
"That" she pointed to the sky, I watched her eyes as she stared at the lilac sky "Isn't it beautiful!" She didn't take her eyes off the colors.
"Yes, beautiful" I whispered looking at her, then watched the sun go down.

I don't love this chapter. I'm fully convinced that guys stress over what to wear just as much as we do. Double update because I'm a literal Angel.(And I might not update tomorrow 😬) Comment and vote Enjoy your night/day 💙
