I held onto Mingyu's arm as we walked around Jeju looking for a supper spot, I was dreading going to the nightclub.

I thought I heard my name and turned, but didn't see anyone... eventually, Mingyu found a good restaurant, we were shown to our table and ordered our meals, the menu made me salivate. Something about Jeju made everything seem... special?

"What're you thinking about?" My boyfriend broke my thoughts.

"You- being here with you"

He smiled.

I didn't think I'd get into a relationship after Hoshi, but Mingyu is the BEST thing that happened to me and my dad's happy with him.

"Okay, I'm glad I'm on your mind, but I'm sitting in front of you and want to talk" he took my hand over the table and traced my knuckles with his thumb.

"Thanks my love" was all that I could get out of my mouth.

"For what?" He kissed the back of my hand.

"For being a giant golden retriever" I laughed choosing to keep the mood light.

The food came as the sun disappeared completely, "that smells amazing" Mingyu sniffed the air when the waiter put the spicey beef soup in front of him, my steak was brought out a few minutes later. It looked delectable.

The steak was brown on the outside and a perfect shade of pink inside. There was an eggplant pickle on the side --I didn't plan on eating-- and fondant potatoes.

The meat melted in my mouth, and I noticed Mingyu eyeing my steak, "fine" I groaned and switched the meals.
"I just wanted a bite" He lied and took my plate with the purest smile on his face.

Once we finished eating Mingyu and I got directions to the nightclub and left the restaurant.

"Let's just go back to the hotel? I have a bad feeling in my gut" I nagged Mingyu, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.

He called me a drama queen and assured me people were staring at him, not me "because of my unreal handsomeness" he dropped his arm from around my shoulder to my waist and pulled me closer to him as we walked.

I felt a little better, but still felt someone's eyes on me.

The club was loud and crowded, I clung to Gyu like a magnet to the fridge he led me to the bar and then to an empty table.

Our cocktails came, Joshua was right the sweetness of the cocktail with the buzz of the alcohol was... a work of art.

"Have you loosened up now?" Mingyu asked when I finished my drink.
I nodded and looked at the bucket of liquid courage. "Let's dance?" Mingyu took my hand.

I made him wait and took a shot of the vodka left at our table before joining him on the dance floor.

The music was different from usual club music, they played a lot of house but also had K-pop mixed in.

Criminal by Taemin blasted all around us, Mingyu held my waist to his groin and rocked slowly, couples around us doing the same. I felt like I was in a trance. Mingyu's hands on me, the music blaring. I didn't even mind the stuffy atmosphere anymore.

"Drinks?" Mingyu was out of breath I nodded.

We moved back to our table when someone caught my wrist.

"Hwa-young!?" The familiar voice sobered me up, I turned and faced him.

He looked the same as he did back then.
His sharp eyes stared into my soul. Memories hit me like a tidal wave, I reached back for Mingyu's hand but didn't find it.
