"but it's going to require a little psychic help."
"I don't know about this.." Raph attempted to look at the wire placed in the middle of his forehead. "Well, the theory is sound! April will psychically connect their memories and project you into their minds. You must stop the Neutrinos from taking their inner selves at all cost!" The Professor explained from behind his podium. Donnie huffed, "Trying to navigate Mikey's brain is gonna be like trying to watch every TV channel at once!" Raph and Leo nodded. "Don't worry, I'll do what I can to help guide you through." April assured, "Well find their inner selves." "Remember, if the Neutrinos destroy you inside his mind, your body here will be reduced to a vegetive state." The Professor smiled and before the brothers could protest he pressed the start button.
Leonardo pov:
Everything went dark. Suddenly, we were back in the sewers, something I havent seen in a while. "Uh, did we just teleport?" I asked to no one in particular, deep down hoping I was right. "No, you're in Mikey's memories, which may not be totally accurate because, you know, he's Mikey." April's voice echoed throughout the tunnels though I could see her on a flier titled 'Missing'. "This is so cool dudes, we're going on an adventure!" my younger brother's voice could be heard a short distance away, drawing all of our attention, "That's Mikey!" Raph gasped. We ran to the source of his voice, down a tunnel I could see my brothers and I in our LARPing costumes walking excitedly, Mikey in the back. "Mikey! No time for games, we gotta get ya somewhere safe before the Neutrinos roll up-- huh?" as Raph tried to push a hand onto Mikey's plastron Mikey glitched and his hand went straight through. April's voice echoed again, "It's just a memory, Raph." We watched Mikey happily walk away in his elven prince costume. "Kinda like holographic movies." Donnie pointed out, then I began to think. When Mikey's in his head, where does he go? "Maybe his inner self is hiding out in his--" A shrill scream interrupted, it was Mikey's! We ran to find him but were met with big metal aliens. "The Neutrinos! I thought theyd be a lot smaller." Donnie muttered nervously. A battle was futile, the Neutrinos were too strong, we had no choice but to retreat into the streets above. However, when we scrambled up the ladder, we were met with a familiar scene; the farmhouse. "Man, I miss the farmhouse." I sighed as I remembered our adventures, the serene of the forest, and even my healing. "I don't." Donnie cringed at the sight of himself being swaddled by Bigfoot on the couch.
Our reminiscing was cut short by a giant, blue claw destroying the door. "Neutrinos!" Raph yelled, the aforementioned alien warbling as it closed in on us. We had no choice but to hurl ourselves out the window behind us. We screamed as we fell onto a hard, cement floor. "Sorry for the hard drop guys, had to get you out of there fast." April's voice echoed through the room again, this time appearing on a blue, holographic screen to my left. In fact, there was a whole wall of these screens. The place was dark and dingy with an assortment of things littering the floor. Shelves contained jars with what looked like severed alien parts and many different kinds of weapons with complex designs I couldn't even to begin to imagine. "No, please!" I snapped my head when I heard a scream, my brothers clearly hearing it too. On the other side of the cramped room was an alien, locked into a chair by thick metal rings. Its expression was one of terror and desperation as it stared in our direction. I was confused, it couldn't see us since its a memory, so what was it afraid of? My question was answered when footsteps sounded behind us and before I could turn around and look, a hologram phased through my body. The hologram wore a black cloak with a belt around the waist and boots that stomped menacingly as they stalked across the room. As they closed in, the alien began whimpering and thrashing around in attempt to get free, "Leave me alone, what do you want from me?" The figure said nothing, coming to a stop in front of the chair. I could barely see the captive anymore, its screams and pleads going unanswered. In the blink of an eye the figure pulled out a weapon and pulled the trigger. Neon green liquid splattered all over the wall, my brothers and I stared in horror. They put away their weapon and tapped a few buttons, a face appearing in front of them. "Is it done?" the face asked, the figure just nodded which caused the face to chuckle,
