JADE WAS AWAKENED by Morticia's loud meowing. Rising from the bed with a murderous look, to which the cat responded with yet another whine, she checked the time on her phone━seven fucking a.m.
"What more could you possibly want?!" She snapped, pointing to a bowl full of food, to a million toys Caroline had acquired from who the fuck knows where and to a clean litter box in the corner of her room.
Morti replied with a quiet meow, walking over to Jade's latex dress, which was lying on the floor, and rubbing against it. Jade pinched her skin between her eyebrows in exasperation, slipping off the bed and walking over to the cat, picking up the clothing.
"I'm here, you little sh━" Her words died on her tongue as the smell of the dress reached her nostrils. Squinting, she brought it under her nose, her eyes widening. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me." She muttered under her breath once she smelled the the delicate scent of cigarettes, woods and his perfume.
"You're unhinged." She looked pointedly at the cat, who pierced her with her yellowish eyes, and Jade could swore she was judging her at that moment. "Oh, fuck you." She mumbled under her breath, rolling eyes to herself as she went downstairs and to made herself some coffee, rubbing her face as she waited for the water to boil.
You don't miss him you stupid bitch.
You don't miss his stupid, extremely handsome face, his stupid smirk accompanied by his stupid dimples, his stupid curls, his stupid necklaces, his stupid, accented, incredibly sexy voice that made a tingle go through you when he would lean over and whisp━
Suddenly, the doorbell rang throughout the house. Jade threw her head back, her expression pained as a pleading moan came out of her mouth. Crawling to the door, mumbling curses on the way, she flung it open with a thud. "What the fuck you wa━" She paused, seeing two Originals standing on her front porch. Her lips momentarily twisted into a overjoyed grin and she jumped at Elijah, who stood with a small smile, also happy to see the girl again.
"'Lijah!" She shouted, practically suffocating him as she wrapped her arms around his neck, making him stumble back slightly as he chuckled.
Elijah wrapped his arm around her waist. "Good to see you, Jade." He murmured, patting her lightly on her back with a small smile on his lips.
Rebekah scoffed, placing her hand on her hips as she shot them an irritated look. "Um, hello? What about me?"
Jade finally unglued herself from Elijah's embrace. "I literally saw youyesterday." She stated matter-of-factly, arching an eyebrow in Rebekah's direction.
