Jade was bored. So bored that she was sitting in the Salvatore Boarding House sipping on some overpriced drink. She had no other option, Caroline was at school, as was the rest of their pack, which, all in all, she didn't even care about. Well, except for Alaric, but by virtue of being a teacher he was also there. Just an hour ago, she was sitting at home watching Jersey Shore, and just as Snooki was about to present her cheerleading routine with her thong hanging out, none other than the elder Salvatore called to join him for a drink to meet his new friend.
She was lost in her thoughts when a female voice brought her back to reality. "Hello, I'm Rose."
She lifted her head from her drink and saw a fairly tall woman with short brown hair and hazel eyes. She was incredibly beautiful, Jade had to admit. "Jade." She introduced herself, shaking the woman's expanded hand. Then, she paused. "Wait, weren't you the one who kidnapped Gilbert?"
Rose pursed her lips and looked away. "Yes, not my proudest moment." She muttered in the most gorgeous british accent that made Jade tingly.
Jade chuckled leaning back on the couch. "Well, you certainly beat the shit out of me."
Rose sat on the couch opposite of the one Jade was sitting on, next to Damon. "Oh, it wasn't me." She said, shaking her head. "It was━it was my friend." She stuttered, taking a sip of the drink Damon handed to her.
Jade hummed with a nod. "I would love to shake his hand then, he knocked me out to the next fucking day."
Rose formed her lips in a tight line, and Damon spoke up. "Unfortuanely you won't have a chance." He said, crossing his leg on his knee and Jade gave him a puzzled look. "Elijah sliced his head off."
"Oh." Jade blinked. "Nevermind, then." She mumbled, flashing her eyebrows. "But what are you doing here? I thought you were on the run? And last I heard, the Original guy is still creeping out there." She questioned curiously.
Rose sighed, leaning back on the couch. "Elijah pardoned me. And I made a deal with Elena, her friend will spell me a daylight ring."
Jade widened her eyes. "You didn't have a daylight ring for 500 years?" Rose shook her head. "Oh, shit. That must've suck." Jade grimaced, taking a sip.
"Yeah, It certainly wasn't the best." Rose admitted, and Damon put his arm around her. Jade eyed the two vampires and after a few seconds, she let out a groan.
"Oh, Rose. You can do better." She whined, twisting her lips in disguist.
"He's not so bad." Rose mused, eyeing the raven haired man.
