'Eyes Don't Lie'
Beomgyu flattered his eyes open and his hands tiredly looked for his phone to check the time. It was Saturday at 7am and the black haired boy didn't plan to do anything. Maybe play games or hang out with his friends. To make it clearer, Beomgyu isn't the type of person to plan something beforehand, he would always go with the flow and give up easily if something goes downhill.. but he was always competitive as ever. His lids were half opened and his brain was not fully awake yet, he needed food to wake himself so he could finally be his energetic self.
The latter slowly sit up and looked at himself on the mirror and his expression were disgusted when he saw himself. His hair was messy, some strands were lifting and his eyes slightly having dark circles due to how long he stayed up late at night. He then dragged himself downstairs, eyes widening when he smelled the good scent of food his mother was cooking. Beomgyu didn't mind to fix himself because it was just his mother and him in the house. His father was busy as always because of work to give money for the family but he would always visit when he has the time to. His father was quite strict but caring, he taught Beomgyu to be independent at a young age to take care of himself if his parents were busy at work.
"Good morning, mom." Beomgyu greeted his mom with a gentle voice, giving her a side hug before going to the table to eat. He waited patiently for the food to be completely cooked, not wanting for his mom to hurry and be pressured. His mom has a soft heart - she was sweet like honey which causes for Beomgyu to be emotional and take after her.
"The food will be ready soon, Beom. Can you ready the plates please?" Mrs. Choi kindly ordered and Beomgyu being a good boy he is, obeyed and ready the plates on the table. His mother cooked gimbap, a good dish for breakfast. Beomgyu isn't a picky eater so it's fine for him.
"Jal meokkessumnida~!" Beomgyu and his mother said in unison, both having different type of expression in their tones - Beomgyu is excited to eat while Mrs. Choi was glad to see his son happy as always.
"Son, are you gonna hang out with your bestfriend today?" Mrs. Choi said dreamily - right, she ships both of Beomgyu and his bestfriend named Taehyun.
To explain something, Kang Taehyun and Choi Beomgyu was bestfriends ever since they started high school. Their mothers were bestfriends as well, ever since college the two made them meet each other so they were very close friends. Very similar as well; both of them ships their sons together.
