Older Brothers

I only had two weeks left so I made sure to spend my time wisely. Tonight's occasion was Hongjoong's roof along with Seonghwa, Yunho, and Minho.

"It would've been nice if Mingi could be here." Yunho sighed.

"His album just came out a week ago, I would hope he wouldn't be here." Hongjoong smiled. We're all excited for him and his future. With the amount of talent he has, he deserves this. At first, it was crazy for us to think he could even perform in front of a crowd, but here he is doing every single thing an artist does in their daily life.

"I would've liked a proper goodbye or something. I feel like he kinda just got up, left, and chose to never look back."

"You know that's not true." I turned to him, trying to be reassuring. "Mingi didn't expect all this either."

"It all just happened so fast."

"Maybe he'll let you go on tour, who knows." Seonghwa shrugged, pulling Hongjoong close to him.

"I doubt they'll let useless friends on tour."

"Then maybe when he's not a brand new artist and has more freedom, you can tag along." I tried to continue the optimism.

"You think Tzuyu would be okay with you going on tour with him?" Minho said with a straight face. He didn't seem to be interested in the conversation, but he wanted to at least contribute.

"I don't see why she wouldn't be." Yunho shrugged. He's still so blind to Tzuyu's feelings for Minho, as well as her disliking towards Mingi and Dami.

"Only because she isn't crazy about Mingi."

"No, she likes Mingi. She just isn't crazy about Dami."

Minho and I figured that was a lie on Tzuyu's end. If someone doesn't like Mingi, Yunho doesn't want to associate with them.

"Which is still so weird to me." Hongjoong said. I thought it was cute how he lined up his hand against Seonghwa's to compare the size difference. I'm typically always catching those two doing cute subtle things like that.

"I get it unfortunately." Yunho sighed. "Trust me, I like Dami too, but Tzuyu just thinks she's fake."

She thinks Dami is fake? Of course she'd say that. If it weren't for Dami, Mingi wouldn't be where he is today. All she's done is support him and help him grow as a person and as an artist. Then we have Tzuyu who is outwardly crushing on her boyfriend's roommate.

"Do you think she's fake?"

"No. But I do think she's too much for Mingi to handle."

"Oh?" I've never heard anyone say that before about their relationship. "How so?"

"He wanted to be with an older, dominant woman. Well now he's got that and she controls everything he does and he actually likes it."

"Do you think you're overthinking it?" Seonghwa likes to see the good in people for as long as possible so hearing if someone isn't as genuine as he thought will really bother him. I know he likes Dami a lot. It's just that the last person he wants to see getting their heartbroken again is Mingi.

"No." Yunho was dead serious. In fact, he even looked a little annoyed that he was being questioned. "I know things when I see it."

"Do you?" Minho laughed. Yunho slowly turned to him and gave him a very irritated smile. He was fuming, I could tell.

"Remember when you and I had that conversation a couple months back? About how you never need to try and outsmart me because I see things the way you do?" Minho didn't seem intimidated since he's only said a whole lot of nothing. He didn't prove if he knew what Minho was insinuating. "I know what you're talking about. I know everyone knows it too. No, I don't know what the fuck you could've possibly done that my girlfriend has feelings for you, but I'll fight that battle when the day comes." Never mind then.
