We often help others when the big things start to happen to them. For instance when you see them go through something horrible like a brother, a sister, a father or a mother die. We are there for them because we understand that death can kill us more than the person it takes from us. And yet the people around us who die a little bit inside all the time, those are the ones who require the least help, those are the ones we ignore completely
