Someone had asked me what it was like being depressed. I didn't really know how to respond at first. I had to try really hard to think of a way to put it into a perspective that would help them understand it. The best I could come up with it is - feeling like you don't remember what better feels like. Then you try and do things that you think will make you feel better, but it doesn't work instead it makes it feel worse. And the things that I'm really scared of doing are probably the things that will end up help me the most but I just can't seem to do them
