We were just kids playing make belief

Coming up with silly little dances.

At our family get togethers

I still remember how excited

We would get

To show off our little routine.

We shined the absolute brightest

Singing Firework.

Only to be upset

When the other

Sang off key.

Oh how I wish

We could just

Be little kids again
