The cuckoo clock sounds on the wall in the bedroom of Jingyi Lee, a young Mondstat adventurer. It's been five years since she became one. Though she might not be high ranking, it's enough to get her by if not more since the life of an adventurer isn't easy after all. Jingyi let out a big yawn, contemplating whether she wanted to even work today at all or not. But her drive to make money trumps everything else. It stems from how her parents raised her. Her family originally being from Liyue, and merchants on top of that. 'Mora is mora, and you can never have too much of it.' Her parents would always say. She groaned while giving one big stretch before hopping off her bed and putting on her circle glasses to get ready in the bathroom.

Jingyi moved out of her parent's place four years ago. They lived in the slightly more upper class part of Mondstat while she lived in the middle class part of Mondstat so they were on opposite sides of the city from each other. Jingyi was glad the rent wasn't bad, it's not like she planned to live here forever. But at the same time, she wouldn't have minded if that ever was the case. She was the type of person that liked to take things one day at a time.

She got dressed in her adventurer outfit. A tan long sleeved button down with star shaped buttons, a red ombre starry design mid sleeved cardigan with matching cape attachment, brown ombre galaxy design leggings, a light brown skirt with a matching red color with starry design to the shrug. She went to the mirror to check on herself. Black eyes and hair looking right back at her. It was a complex she developed ever since she started realizing that she looked slightly different from the people in Mondstat at a young age.

"I look so plain..."

She took a few more seconds to wallow in her angst before taking the pyro vision from her night stand and securing it front and center on her skirt. She locked up and made her way down the steps to the street below her apartment. One of the first people she sees is Flora who runs the little flower shop.

"Hi Flora! How's the flowers today?"

"Why don't you stop by for a little and smell them?" Flora jokes.

Jingyi smiles before heading off to the Adventurer's Guild to talk to Katheryne. As always, Katheryne looked so poised and polite. One could even mistake her for a mannequin.

"Good morning Katheryne! Got anything for me today?"

"Ad astra abyssosque Jingyi, I have something that might interest you."

"Oh! I'm all ears."

"I have a request from Liyue, there seems to be a hilichurl camp that they need more people to go with. Unfortunately they don't have as many adventurers there and were hoping that any adventurer who wouldn't mind traveling would aid them."

Jingyi's eyes widened, "Liyue huh? That sounds pretty good!"

'It beats collecting plants,' she thought. Jungyi took the information and hurried home to pack some more things for her trip. Extra clothes, beef jerky, a small pot, to name a few. It was going to be about a three day trip.
