Meanwhile, Jingyi was in her mind right now, but she didn't know that. All she knew was that she was dressed in a white dress in a room all in white. She looked all around, a little bit confused because she was just with Paimon and Lumine. Suddenly the surroundings shifted and now she was in a field full of cute blue flowers, a light comfortable breeze and a blue sky hinted with the start of a setting sun. Jingyi was awed by the scenery, it was so peaceful and beautiful at the same time.

"Hello."

Jingyi got startled by the sudden voice and turned to the source. A woman with a very familiar air stared back at her, which she thought was weird since she's never met this woman before she's sure. The women also had a white dress on.

"It's so good to finally meet you."

"Who.. are you?" Jingyi asked.

"Well, do you want to guess or do you want to know now," the woman asked with a smile and a teasing tone, "come on, how about a guess? Then, I'll tell you."

Through her lens, Jingyi looked at the woman before her. The older women with a stout build, black hair, glasses and welcoming smile. She knew deep down who she was but didn't want to sound crazy saying it out loud, but decided to anyway with slight hesitation.

"You're... me.."

"Ding ding ding!" The woman said with joy, "I am, you, from another life."

Jingyi didn't know what to say, "You look... happy."

"I am, I've always wanted to meet you. I have a gift for you after all."

"A gift?"

The woman held out her hands, indicating that she wanted Jingyi's hands in hers. Jingyi slowly stepped over and clasped them gently.

"Memories from your other life, and a blessing."

Their hands started to light up and a warm glow enveloped them. Jingyi looked at the women, even though she was smiling there was a hint of something she couldn't make out in her eyes.

"Goodbye Jingyi, live your fullest life okay?"

Jingyi blinked her eyes open, she felt like she was crying in her sleep. The ceiling doesn't look familiar and she felt thirsty.

A familiar voice called out to her, "Jingyi!"

"Mom? Dad?"

Jingyi had a tearful reunion with her parents, they said that after she was in stable condition Baizhu contacted Donghai and Donghai contacted them. She's been out for three days.

"Oh geez, is that why I'm so hungry and thirsty?"

Jingyi was discharged and they went back to the relative's home in Liyue, where the whole family sat down for dinner together. It was awkward for everyone but seeing everyone attempt to mend things with each other made Jingyi feel a lot better. Due to her injuries her stay in Liyue was prolonged to a month. As for the memories from her past life, she didn't think too much of it. Though, it did come in handy for things like general knowledge about Teyvat and even some more combat knowledge.

While being in Liyue for the extended stay Jingyi went over to the adventurer's guild to pass the message that she's not going to be able to accept commissions for a while and also placed a commission herself to have someone send a letters to her friends in Mondstat explaining the situation. One day while out shopping with her mom and aunt, Jingyi ran into Lumine and Paimon.

"Jingyi!" Paimon exclaimed, "you're okay!"

Jingyi laughed, "as okay as someone with a chest and arm cast can be! By the way, this is my aunt, JinMei and my mom, Luo Ehuang. And this is Lumine and Paimon."

"It's so nice to meet you two!" JinMei says, "have you two had lunch yet?"

"O-oh we don't want to impose," Paimon surprisingly said.

"Come on Paimon, I thought you weren't one to pass up free food," Jingyi jokes.

"Sure we'll come along," Lumine replied.

After a nice lunch as the five strolled to walk off the food they got apprehended by a certain woman with long pigtailed hair and dark brown formal outfit.

"You there!"

"Who, me?" Jingyi asked.

"Seeing how banged up you are, I can tell that you're an adventurer! It's a dangerous profession, how does a deal on a funeral sound?"

Jingyi was flustered from the absurdity of that statement.
"N-no thanks."

"And I see you're a friend of the traveler! I can do even more of a discount for you if you're interested!"

Lumine and Paimon look apologetic but Jingyi's aunt stepped in.

"That's enough Hu Tao," JinMei says.

"Oh, so sorry ma'am sometimes I can't help myself when I'm trying to run a sales pitch hehe."

After some light discussion the group left Lumine and Paimon with Hu Tao before returning home. The rest of the month went by just as peacefully, albeit a bit stuffy since everyone is constantly making sure Jingyi isn't pushing herself too hard while she recovers.
