The four individuals slowly made their way to Wanmin Restaurant Paimon and Jingyi were at the front and Lumine and Childe were behind. Jingyi was immersed with Paimon talking her ear off while in contrast the two walking behind had a more somber air to them.
"You have something to say, then say it. I didn't take you for the type to be afraid to talk, comrade."
Lumine sighed, "Why were you sparring with Jingyi? You could have hurt her," aggravation in her voice.
"Oh my," he shrugged her off, "Jingyi is an adult, and an adventurer. I'm pretty sure she can look after herself."
"Yes she is an adventurer, but you're a harbinger," Lumine said with extra emphasis on harbinger.
Childe rolled his eyes, "I wasn't actually ever planning on hurting her."
"You're just lucky that she wasn't hurt, or else you would have been hearing from me," Lumine huffed.
Jingyi turned to check on the two behind her and Paimon and was surprised because it seemed the two were getting along. She thought the two looked great together. A pang of jealousy rang through Jingyi only because she's been single her whole life and thought that if she was just a bit as cool as Lumine she'd have no problem going out with anyone she wanted.
"Come on you two love birds," Jingyi teased, "we're almost at Wanmin Restaurant!"
Paimon, Lumine and Childe all stopped in their tracks, startling Jingyi.
Jingyi, trying to make up for the situation, apologized, "Um... I'm sorry, maybe the joke went too far..."
Childe walked over to Jingyi and put a hand on her shoulder.
"You know, if we ditch these two I can show you how much of a love bird I can be."
Jingyi's face flushed, "Um..huh?"
Childe smirked at the girl's reaction, enjoying it more than he thought he would. Not that what he was saying was false in any way though.
"Hey! We were the ones Jingyi invited to lunch, back off!" Paimon exclaimed while grabbing on to one of her arms.
Lumine shook her head at the situation unfolding.
"A-alright guys let's get serious!" Jingyi says as she loosens herself from Childe and Paimon, "the day isn't getting any younger, let's go before the day drags on more."
"Paimon agrees! I'm starved!" She exclaims while floating alongside Jingyi once again as she walks.
Lumine sighs and goes to follow them leaving Childe still standing where he was for a little bit.
"I was serious..." he says under his breath.
