My eyes widened and I started turning around to find a place to hide. I started to panic but found salvation behind a giant vase of flowers.
"Um...Fay?" Andrew asked, his eyebrow raised.
"Sh..." I hushed Andrew, putting my finger to my lips.
I peered around the flowers and watched as Jake walked into the restaurant with his friends. As soon as I thought the coast was clear I moved away from the flowers as casual as possible.
I turned around and looked up at Andrew who had the most confused look on his face.
"Sorry," I said, innocently, "I just didn't want to be noticed by someone."
"Ah..." Andrew said, the confused look being replaced with an understanding look.
We just stood at reception, waiting around. Andrew chatted up with some people that were apart of the basketball team and I stood there awkwardly, listening in on the topics that were being thrown around.
"Wow," Andrew said, astonishment split across his face.
"Yep! It was an amazing shot man! You should of been there!" a boy with brown hair hit Andrew on the shoulder in a way to say 'you-missed-out-on-a-great-game'
"Yeah, he only had like 90 seconds to spare!" another boy said.
"Too bad..." Andrew said with a shrug. He then turned to me and realization spilt across his face.
"Oh. I forgot to introduce you guys. Fay this is Connor and Mark. Connor and Mark this is Fay."
I gave the two boys a small smile and a little wave. I still had no idea who was who but for some reason I didn't think it mattered too much.
"Yo," one of the boys said.
"Hey," the boy with brown hair said.
"Excuse me but your table is ready now," said a woman in waitress outfit. She ushered us into the restaurant and we all followed her to a long rectangle, mahogany table.
Andrew found us two seats near the end and, the gentlemen that he is, let out a chair for me. I gave him a smile and sat down, with him right beside me. I could feel my heart racing a million kilometers per hour, even though I wasn't talking, being this close to Andrew always sent my heart racing.
"Hey Andrew. Hey Fay," I heard a familiar voice call.
I turned automatically, to find Lucas and a girl with dark brown curly hair walk through the threshold.
"Hey Lucas," I said, giving him the same enthusiasm he gave me.
"What's up Lucas, you're a little late...?" Andrew teased.
"Shut up Andrew," said the girl with dark brown curly hair.
Lucas and the girl took their seats right in front of us. I automatically started to examine the girl more, as girls usually do. She had naturally tanned brown skin and dark brown eyes that matched her hair. She had a round even face and was curvy in all the right places. It was enough to say...she was gorgeous.
"Ah...Fay...this is Lucas' girlfriend Leah. Leah this is Fay," Andrew introduced me. I gave Leah a smile and she returned me the same smile.
"So...your Fay..." Leah said, getting settle in her seat.
"You've heard of me?" I raised an eyebrow, curious. I had never seen this girl, she clearly was not from our school so how could she know me?
