Harry Styles.
"Leah!?" I cried out, the rain filling my shoes. "Leah!?" I yelled louder, not a sound. "Leah come home! Please!"
My hands pressed to my stomach trying to figure out where she could've gone. "Nelly!" I yelled hoping she'd answer. "Please!"
I could barely see. Or breath. I couldn't find anyone.
Louis had gone missing, Liam and Zayn were looking for him and Riley and Niall were gone too. "Leah please I can't lose you again!"
The road was empty, almost empty.
There she was, lay in a pool of her own blood. I'd hoped it was someone else's but I knew it wasn't. "No, no." Pulling her up from the floor I felt a piece of something graze my finger.
Glass, window glass specifically. It looked burnt and smashed.
I couldn't do anything, I couldn't bring her back this time. I can't tell her I'm sorry. "I love you so much. I'm sorry. Fuck in so sorry."
Pulling her into my chest I heard another scream come from behind me, the woods nearer to the house. That was Niall's scream.
It sounded like a cry.
I can't leave her here. I didn't know what to do. I can't bring her with me.
I pick her up from the floor thinking through the fog in my head and setting her against the tree. "I'll be back this time I swear."
I couldn't see straight. Pressing my hands into my heart I started to pick up the pace.
Sprinting towards the rustling trying to listen to it over the rain. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry I thought I was quiet. I'm so sorry. Oh god, fuck— fuck I don't know what to do."
There he was. Lay on the ground with his hand over his head. "No. No— no I can't lose you too." Louis chuckles. "Just pretend I don't exist."
"I'm so sorry." Louis shakes his head. "This isn't your fault. This is not your fault at all."
"I can't find Riley anywhere. I found Liam and Zayn you're back with Nia but I can't find her anywhere-" just like that he was off, chasing after the quick scream she'd let out.
"You're gonna be fine." I pick him up from the floor but he wouldn't let me walk. "Harry I- Im already dead I can't- move. Please just stay here."
"Louis please. Please don't make me, I just got to say I love you. I have to fix this." His eyes were closing longer every time he blinked. "I can't move, my legs are numb and my heart— it's not so good."
"You're fucking stupid." I laughed through my cries. "I love you. With my tiny useless little heart, all of it I love you so much. Please look after Nia. I need you to promise me you will."
"You're not dying on my Louis. I can deal with you being a paralysed but you're not dying on me." Picking him up from the floor I started screaming, waiting for someone to come around.
I've never prayed in my life. Ever.
I don't think I ever will again.
But I needed him more than I needed anything else.
And it had worked. "Sirens." I whispered. He was slipping away I could feel it.
I knew he wasn't dying, he'd hit a certain part of his head that only bleeds out slow, the most it would do is put him, in a coma.
"I'll see you soon okay. I swear to you I will see you soon." Taking him from my arms I watched them poke and prod at him. I can not lose both of them in one day.
Louis was bleeding in a part of his head that shouldn't bleed through his brain so long as he'd fallen sideways and not right down, but even then it's a good month for a coma— probably longer.
Leah was dead.
"Daddy!" My heart dropped. Turning to the light I watched the smoke form a thick cloud over the house. "Nia!"
"Daddy I can't get out! I can't move!" Pulling the door open I tried my best to break as least things as possible in the hopes that it stayed inside the house. "Nia!"
The fear in her eyes had made me sick. "It's okay baby I'm right here. Everything is gonna be okay I promise. Nothings gonna hurt you."
Finally having her on my arms I slammed the window shut running and trying to keep her under my jacket. "Try not to breath in too much smoke okay angel! Just stay calm!"
I hated this. I hadn't been here long enough for my memories to surround it. But this was where all my good memories happened.
How the hell were they supposed to deal with this? This had been their entire lives.
Nia hadn't lived anywhere else ever. And now it's gone. "Harry!" Niall screams, falling into my chest. "I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry."
"Where Liam and Zayn?" I asked hugging him into my side. "Talking to the uh- them. I don't know their names." Nia was gripping my shirt tight enough to rip it.
"You're okay. Everything is fine." Nothing was fine. Absolutely none of this was fine.
Turning around we all stood there staring at the fire. Watching them try to put it out. "My entire life was in there." Liam whispered. "I don't understand, what happened?"
"Nelly." Nia whispered. "What?"
"Nelly set the house on fire." She says a little louder. "Why?"
"I think, she's- she said that I had to, uh-" she pauses. "It's okay. You don't have to say it. What happened after that?"
"Riley had to kill her." Riley stops in front of me. "Harry I have to talk to you."
"It's okay." I said quietly. "I hated it. I hated it so much. Please don't hate me, I'm so sorry— I'm so sorry. She wanted- Charlie!?"
Looking down at Nia I watched her eyes flick towards the house. "I'll be right back."
Handing her to Niall she went willingly. Running past the guards that had tried to stop me, failing of course because I'm very fast.
Now is not really the time I know but I'm in a fucking panic.
"Charlie!?" I could hear him coughing. It was honestly a miracle he was still breathing.
"Charlie! Oh thank fuck." Pulling him into my chest he seemed surprised. "You came back?" He cries. "Always, please don't ever doubt it."
"You came back."
