I was almost asleep, I'd spent the whole night worrying about everybody in the goddamn house. Then the door opened, Nia ran in.

Squinting at her as she jumped onto the bed. "Daddy I can't sleep. It's dark." I pull her into my chest letting her hide under the quilt.

"It's cold, I'm cold. Are you cold? I'm cold. I'm hungry- sorry." She shrinks back down under her quilt. "We can get some food, drive around until you fall asleep if you want."

"No it's okay. I'll go to sleep now." I sit up, smiling before leaning over. "What food do you want? It's only twelve it's okay."

"I'm just hungry." The tears were built up in her eyes. "Angel it's okay. You're okay, did you want it to be just us or did you want to see if everyone else wanted to as well?"

"Do you think they will?" She jumps up. "If you're going I doubt they'll miss the chance."

I stood up from my bed leaving her there for just a second. Knocking on Harry's door. "Hey, we're gonna go get some food. You wanna come?" He nods, pulling himself up.

Hiding his shaky hands behind his back. "It's okay." Nia takes his hand walking down the steps, her bed head was worse than Niall's.

"Where are you going?" Zayn asked with the other three sat on the couches. "To get food."

"Can we go? This film is really slow," Riley pouts at Niall's comment. "I like it but I need food."

"I don't want to drive the truck right now so either one of you does or we go separate." Zayn throws his arms up. "I will. I love driving the truck. You all drive to fast anyway."

I grabbed the blanket cause I knew it for a fact that we'd get out in the fucking back.

That's how it always goes. It didn't make sense.

Why can't I sit in the front? Not that I wanted to ever sit in the front, but they never offered.

"Louis doesn't want to get in the front?" Harry asked. "Louis hates the front, he'll complain about it and then he'll ask to move. So no, Louis doesn't get to sit in the front."

That ends that discussion.

Niall and Riley curled into one corner reading the same book they've been reading all day, Nia was sat on my lap, staring at the starts.

"There's so many." She whispers. "You recon you'll ever count them all in one night?" I asked watching her laugh. "Daddy that's silly. You can't count all stars, if we tried we'd lose count half way through."

"I guess you have a point." I rest my head against Harry's shoulder. "I'm cold." Nia growls. "Stop growling. You're gonna hurt your throat."

"But it's fun." I cover the blanket over us all, Harry messing with my rings again. "You okay?" He nods. "Yeah. I'm just tired."

"You sure? You seemed, anxious." He huffs. "I think I just need sleep, when I'm alone my head gets all weird, when I'm with somebody I'm fine cause I'm talking and I'm focused but when I'm alone I get- scared."

"You don't have to be alone Harry, you have all of us. You're never alone I promise. You have me." I said quietly. "Yeah."

The car stops, I start to look around, pulling her up and out of the truck. "We can get breakfast. You can have whatever you want."

"Hi, how many are there?" The lady stops in front of Zayn. "Seven. I think, hold on."

He starts to count our heads. "Yeah, seven." She hands Zayn the menus. "If you take that table in the corner I'll have someone with you right away."

Picking her up from the floor she starts to make rocket noises.

Naturally I started to fly her over to the table, sitting down first before sitting her on my lap.

Both me and Harry shooting our heads towards each other hearing the music fade into the next song. "It follows." He teases making me laugh like an idiot. "Everywhere."

"Okay what do you want?" She points, to a lot.

She really loves her food I was mighty impressed.

Pancakes, hash browns, toast and eggs.

I turned to Harry ask him what he wanted but I wasn't even looking at the menu. "You already know? You're very indecisive I thought it would've taken longer."

"Yeah, yeah I- uh- I already know. What I'm getting, that was obvious." He didn't touch the menu, I don't think any of us have ever been here. I thought he would've mentioned if he had. Maybe not.

"Harry you look really stressed are you okay?" He nods. "Yeah no I'm good."

I felt a small tug on my shirt. "Can I sit with Harry for a second, I want to show him what I'm getting." He holds out his arms. She pulls the menu from the table sitting on his lap.

"No okay all I'm saying is that it really wouldn't work, you can't just say, let me explain and then they run away. They would listen."

"Tall me you've never dated without talking me you've never dated. Zayn I can promise you, nobody listens." Liam really knows how to lighten the mood. "Li, shut up."

"Am I wrong?" Riley nods. "I'd listen." He rolls his eyes. "Whatever. Okay we get it you're perfect stop being such a barbie doll."

"I'm not blonde- or white, Liam are you blind? Colour blind?" He squints. "You can have different coloured barbie dolls Rys, even Asian dolls."

"Really? My mum told me they only made barbie dolls for white girls." She pouts. "You poor little thing, no, they have different barbie dolls. So many different kinds."

"Oh." She sits back in her seat. Giving Niall a slight side eye as he sits a little too close. "I have told him what I want." He seems happier.

"That's good." She nods with a big toothy grin. "Did you brush your teeth before you went to bed?"

"Hi what can I get you tonight?" Nia let's out a deep breath. "Saved by the waiter." The girl looks down at her with a confused smile. "I want, pan-"

"No growling." I stopped her quickly. "I want, Pancakes, hash browns, toast and eggs."

The rest of us order, she was growling at me, it was weird. She only does this when she's tired.

It's really the strangest little habit.
