Tom's POV

The higher I flew the colder the autumn air felt on my face and bare chest. My wings stretched themselves as I reached the gray clouds to escape from the crazy ones on the ground. "Fuck, I hate humans. Every single one of them is just either crazy, masochist, sadistic or aggressive towards me." I growled as I hid in the clouds. "But he...The man whose face is now destroyed is the craziest one. Nobody has ever tried to take my freedom away from me...But that man. he fucking kidnapped me." I talked to myself as I tried to listen to the footsteps of the scary humans below me. Thanks to my dragon sight and extremely sensitive hearing I was able to track where most of them were. "Little ants." I spat and sharpened my claws. "I will rip their guts out." I grinned as I licked my dark lips. I was hungry after all. I didn't even know when was the last time that I ate something. But this was not the first time when I was starving. I have gotten used to it already. Weak ones are the dragons that can't even tolerate the pain of starving.

"Let's eat then." I smirked as my black eyes started scanning the multiple prey on the ground. I tried to find the weakest one so when I strike, humans often start to panic. Panic will cause the fight or flight reaction. That reaction will cause some of the humans to run away. And, that leads more people to leave because they don't want to fight alone, which leads to chaos. Then I can just kill them all. It's just like a snowball rolling down from the mountain.

With a sly smile on my face I began to attack. My body started cracking as it started to change its color and form radically. I was no longer a person. I was a massive beast with a fearless heart that pounded hot black blood to my veins. I felt how everything around me got smaller and less threatening. I was on top of everything. Not a single man could harm me anymore. And It felt... great.

I opened my large mouth just to let out a loud roar. The humans raised their weapons towards the sky. Even though they were pointing at me, they still seemed to fear me. Which was only natural to small beings like them. "U-Up there! Shoot him down!" One human shouted while pointing at me.

Unfortunately, I was already gliding towards them. Before they even managed to shoot me, I ripped off two guys' heads dramatically. I smashed them to the ground like sand with my large claws. I wanted to show off a bit so they would start to panic more. And that's what I did. I let out a bloody roar as I stretched my wings, making myself bigger and more fearable. I snapped trees around me, making them fall like they would be just a bunch of matches.

Warmly colored maple leaves danced in the cold air around me. I watched how the dead leaves painted red when they touched the ground around me. Everything seemed to slow down when I stroke towards the individuals. They screamed like babies when my pointy claws pierced them like they did to us. I had seen it so many times when a human being impaled a peaceful dragon in the forest just because they wanted to sleep on the dragon's territory and it defended its home. Humans always think that they are somehow special and the best most powerful animal on the earth. They think too much of themselves. And that's what gets them killed. They are way too brave.

It didn't take long for me to kill half of the people that started chasing me. My 4 feets and face were fully covered by red liquid. Human blood really has a pungent smell. It was like rusty iron or steel mixed with different minerals or something. Either way, it was super delicious. Way better than carcases that I usually eat.

Just when I was about to bite one human to the half I felt an unexpected poking feeling. It didn't really hurt but it felt weird and uncomfortable. I twisted my long neck 180 degrees and saw two angry men crawling on top of my scaly back. They held tightly at the hard and huge pointy scales of mine with their blades and ropes. They were trying to tie my wings together! I roared and started to jump left and right, shaking my back uncontrollably like I would have some sort of parasite on me. The two men on my back jolted up a bit as they started to jump up and down. I growled as the man with dark bushy eyebrows thrust his shiny blade between my scales further to my flesh. To my luck it was too short to reach my flesh, however, I felt how my jumping caused it to get stuck between my scales. That uncomfortable feeling caused me to only jump more.

I flipped my gorgeous colored wings as I started to look more closely at the two men on my back. They looked somehow really familiar. And that's when it hitted me. As I observed everything about them, their actions, their ways of talking, their clothes and their body language reminded me of the two men that were with that horned twisted ball sack...Tord, in my cave. They were the two men that shouted and messed it all up. Paul and Patryk I remembered.

The annoying feeling of the blade being between my scales started to really disturb me. I couldn't pay attention to the other humans with the real weapons in their hands. So, I had an idea. A master plan, how would I get out of here.

I smirked and turned myself back into a humanlike form so I would be much smaller so the blade would fall down with Paul and Patryk. But, as I was starting to run away I bumped on to something. "Hm?" I backed up a bit as I placed my right hand on top of my forehead. I looked up and immediately regretted every single one of my decisions. I saw a tall and muscular man holding his whip. Even though the right side of his face was completely scratched, I would have recognized this maniac for miles. His face was so punchable that it would be impossible to forget.

He grabbed my throat as he pressed me to the ground. I bit my lower lip as I tried to stay calm and focus just on trying to get oxygen to my lungs. "So rude and wild soul you are. " Tord started. Drops of his blood dripped to my cheeks, down to my chin as I tried to push myself up. The cold liquid caused me to shiver as he punched my half purple cheek. "But fear not. I will tame you, whatever it takes. I will destroy your mind and make you my weapon. Even if it would take a hundred years." He spat as he smashed my head back to the ground. It caused me to yelp quietly and shut my eyes. When I opened my eyes again I saw how Tord's mouth had twisted into a sadistic smile.

He wanted to break me, I could see that in his eyes. The innocent face that he showed me before he set me free was just a glued mask, and so was mine. We both acted. And, now our masks are broken, lying on the bloody ground. Just waiting for a new show.

"I feel sorry for you. Because I'm afraid that I will probably just waste your time. It's impossible to tame a dragon. especially me." I smirked and showed my teeth. "I like challenges. So, don't worry I'm just trying to save you." He hummed as he bent down to his knees. He stared straight to my soul as he opened his mouth once again. "You need me by your side. You need to be protected. There are a lot of bad people on this earth." He whispered as he leaned closer to me. I felt how someone behind me took a tight grip on my horns and banded me down as other hands started to tie my wings. "I DON'T NEED ANYONE!" I screamed on top of my lungs before Tord punched me in the face, over and over again until my head felt like it would explode.

Eventually I felt how the ringing pain in my head started to get lighter and my consciousness started to fade as I fell deeper to the black void inside of my mind, further from reality.
