Tom's POV

The higher I flew the colder the autumn air felt on my face and bare chest. My wings stretched themselves as I reached the gray clouds to escape from the crazy ones on the ground. "Fuck, I hate humans. Every single one of them is just either crazy, masochist, sadistic or aggressive towards me." I growled as I hid into the clouds. "But he...The man whose face is now destroyed has to be the craziest. Nobody has ever tried to take my freedom away...But that man. He fucking kidnapped me." I talked to myself as I tried to listen to the footsteps of those scary humans below me. Thanks to my dragon sight and extremely sensitive hearing I was able to track where most of them were. "Little bugs." I spat and sharpened my claws. "I will rip their guts out." I grinned as I licked my dark lips. I wasn't even sure when was the last time I ate something. But that wasn't  the first time when I was starving. I had gotten used to it by now. Weak ones were those dragons who couldn't tolerate the pain of starving.

"Let's eat then." I smirked as my black eyes started scanning multiple preys on the ground. I was looking for the weakest one, so when I plunged, humans often start to panic. Panic caused the fight or flight reaction. That reaction will cause some of the humans to run away. And, that leads to more people wanting to leave because they wouldn't want to fight alone, which lead to chaos. Then I was able to just kill them all. Humans often act based on their feelings witch usually get's them killed.  It's was like a snowball rolling down the mountain.

With a sly smile on my face I began to attack. My body started cracking as it started to change its color and form radically. I was no longer a person. I was a massive beast with a fearless heart that pounded hot black blood into my veins. I felt how everything around me got smaller and less threatening. I was on top of everything. Not a single man could had harmed me anymore. And It felt... great.

I opened my large mouth just to let out a loud roar. The humans raised their weapons towards the sky just I thought. Even though they were pointing at me, they still seemed to fear me. Which was only natural for a small beings like them. "U-Up there! Shoot him down!" One human shouted while pointing at me.

Unfortunately, I had already glided too near them. Before they even managed to shoot me, I ripped two guys' heads off dramatically. I smashed them grotesquely on the ground like sand with my large claws. I wanted to show off a bit so they would start to panic. And that's what I did. I let out a bloody roar as I stretched my wings, making myself bigger and more terrifying. I snapped trees making them look like they would had been just a bunch of matches.

Warmly colored maple leaves danced in the chilly air around me as I watched how the dead leaves painted red instantly when they touched the ground around me. Everything slowed down when I stroke towards random individuals. They screamed like babies when my pointy claws pierced them just like they did to us. I had seen it so countless times when a human being impaled a peaceful dragon in the forest just because they wanted to sleep on the dragon's territory and it defended its home. Humans thought that they were special and the best most powerful animals on the planet. They tend thinking highly of themselves. And that's what gets them six feet under. They were way too brave.

It didn't took long for me to finish over half of them. My 4 feet and face were fully covered by the red liquid. It had a pungent smell like rusty iron or steel would had been mixed with different minerals or something. Either way, it was delicious. Way better than carcasses that I usually ate.

Just when I was about to bite another head off I felt an unexpected poking feeling. It didn't really hurt but it felt weird and uncomfortable. I twisted my long neck 180 degrees and saw two angry men crawling on top of my scaly back. They held tightly on the hard pointy scales of mine with their blades and ropes. They were trying to tie my wings together! I roared and started to jump left and right, shaking my back uncontrollably like I would had had some sort of parasites. The two men on my back jolted up as they started to wobble. I growled, as the man with dark bushy eyebrows ram his shiny blade further between my scales into my flesh. Luckily it was too short to reach my flesh, however, I felt how my jumping caused it to get stuck between my scales. That uncomfortable feeling caused me to only struggle more violently.

I flipped my gorgeous colored wings as I started to examine those two men more closely. They looked somehow oddly familiar. And that's when it hit me. As I observed everything about them, their actions, their way of talking, their clothes and their body language reminded me of the two men that were with that horned twisted ball sack...Tord, in my nest. They were those men who had shouted and messed it all up. Paul and Patryk.

The annoying feeling of the blade being between my perfect scales started to really disturb me. I couldn't pay attention to the other humans. So, I got an idea. A master plan, how would I get out of here.

I smirked and turned myself back to my human-like form. That way I were much smaller witch caused the blade to fall on the ground with Paul and Patryk. But, as I would had started dashing, I bumped on to something. "Hm?" I backed up a bit as I placed my right hand on top of my forehead. I moved my gaze up and immediately regretted every single one of my decisions. I saw a tall and muscular man, painted with shadows, holding his whip. Even though the right side of his face was completely scratched, I would had recognized this maniac for miles away. His face was so disgusting that it would had been impossible to forgot.

He grabbed me by throat as he pressed me on the ground. I bit my lower lip as I tried to stay calm. I focused just on trying to get oxygen into my lungs. "So rude and wild soul you are. " Tord started.  His blood dripped down to my cheeks as I tried to push myself up. The cold liquid caused me to shiver before he punched my half purple cheek. "But fear not. I will tame you, whatever it takes. I will destroy your mind and make you my weapon. Even if it would take a hundred years." He warned as he smashed my head back on the wet leaves. It caused me to yelp quietly and shutting my eyes. When I opened them again I saw how Tord's mouth had twisted into a sadistic smile.

He wanted to break me, I saw that in his eyes. The innocent face that he had showed me before  was just a glued glass mask, and so was mine. We both acted. And, now our masks had broken, lying shattered on the bloody ground. Just waiting for a new show.

"I feel sorry for you. Because I'm afraid that I will probably just waste your time. It's impossible to tame a dragon. especially me." I smirked and showed my teeth. "I like challenges. So, don't worry I'm just trying to save you." He hummed as he bent down on his knees. He stared straight into my soul as he opened his mouth once again. "You need me by your side. You need to be protected. There are a lot of bad people on this earth." He whispered as he leaned closer to me. I felt how someone behind me took a tight grip of my horns and banded me down while other rough hands started to tie my wings together. "I DON'T NEED ANYONE!" I screamed on top of my lungs before Tord began to punch my face over and over again until my head felt like it would had exploded.

Eventually I felt how the ringing pain in my head started to get lighter and my consciousness faded as I fell deeper in the black void inside of my mind, further from reality.
