Ji-ah heaved a sigh as she exited the stifling exam hall. The exam season is over. Ji-ah can only pray now that she did her tests well.

From afar, she spotted Haeun waving her arms amidst the mass of students, walking towards her.

"Ji-ah, how did you do?" Haeun asked eagerly as they walked away from the hall.

"I did okay. I hope." Ji-ah with a hint of uncertainty.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you did better than me! I skipped some questions because I had no idea what to write." Haeun cried, pretending to wipe her invisible tears.

"You'll still pass," Ji-ah smiled at her, patting her shoulder.

Haeun took a deep breath. "It's okay. Whether I pass or not, let's leave that question for the next semester," she chuckled.

"Now, we're going shopping!" Excited, Haeun grabbed Ji-ah's hands and started swinging them, leading the way toward her car.

"Shopping?" Ji-ah looked at her friend with a puzzled expression.

Haeun gave her a look. "You didn't forget, did you? We have to find a dress for the party?" Haeun emphasized the word.

"Oh.. can't I just wear what I have? I don't look good in dresses." Ji-ah smiled sheepishly. She didn't care if she looked like she just got out of bed. She always preferred comfortable, baggy outfits over stylish ones.

"No you do not! I'll find the perfect dress for you," Haeun declared, shaking her friend's shoulders. "Plus, the party requires us to wear a dress."

"Oh okay." Ji-ah agreed, smiling at her friend's enthusiasm. Haeun had always been a great friend. If it weren't for her, Ji-ah would practically have no friends.

Haeun was the one who approached her on the first day of class, asking questions and talking to her. Ji-ah only responded simply, her socialization skills were clearly lacking.

Ji-ah wanted to laugh at how awkward she was. She had no friends even in high school, because she isolated herself.

As she sat in Haeun's car, she quickly texted Mr. Kang to let him know they were going shopping.

"I know the exact dress you can wear." Haeun gushed, her hands gripping the steering wheel with anticipation.

Ji-ah smiled at her friend's excitement. "You mentioned it was a dance party. I don't know how to dance."

"We don't have to dance. Imagine the food they are serving! We can just vibe there." Haeun chuckled, her eyes gleaming.

After hours of scavenging the shops, they finally settled on their own dresses. Haeun was able to find a black dress that suited Ji-ah, and she looked surprisingly elegant.

The dress had laced sleeves, and draped down to her knees gracefully. She couldn't help but smile as she admired herself in the boutique's mirror.
