Ji-ah stepped into the bustling market, a vibrant tapestry of sights and sounds enveloping her. The air was thick with the mingling aromas of freshly baked bread, sizzling street food and fragrant spices.

Haeun waved energetically, her hands held high above the crowd. Ji-ah jogged toward her friend, ignoring the calls and shouts from vendors eager to sell their products. The market was a kaleidoscope of goods, with stalls offering everything from food to makeup and accessories.

Ji-ah's mouth watered at the sight of a bungeo-ppang stall, but she pressed on towards Haeun. She immediately recognized Alex standing next to her. He smiled when he saw her, giving a small wave.

The winter festival was in full swing, and Haeun had planned to visit it with her. Ji-ah had introduced Haeun to Alex back on campus, and they had quickly hit it off.

Haeun, always the social butterfly, had invited Alex to join them for the festival. Ji-ah didn't mind at all; she thought Alex was nice and was happy to make a new friend.

"Ji-ah, look!" Haeun exclaimed, pulling her towards an accessories store. Bows and glittering headbands hung throughout the stall, while bracelets and earrings were displayed on the table.

Haeun picked up a silver bracelet with a tiny heart charm in the middle and held it to Ji-ah's wrist. "What do you think of this?"

"It's pretty." Ji-ah glanced at the silver trinket glittering.

Alex puffed out cold air, the condensation visible in the festival lights. "It's definitely your style, Ji-ah."

Christmas music played softly among the chatter of the crowd. The country was in a festive mood, with red and green decorations adorning every stall and lamppost. Twinkling lights hung from trees, casting a warm glow over the bustling market.

"Oh, really?" Ji-ah chuckled.

Haeun had already turned back to the stall, her eyes wide with admiration as she browsed the variety of accessories. She cooed over each piece, chatting animatedly with the vendor and asking questions about the different items.

"Yeah," Alex nodded, his eyes twinkling.

Ji-ah thought about buying some accessories for the ball, but she wasn't sure if they would match her dress.

Her dress for the ball had already been chosen and prepared by the princes. Ji-ah had been amazed when she first saw it, as were the other girls who were going to be the princes' dance partners.

The dress has a milky hue, reminiscent of freshly fallen snow. It is crafted from soft and shimmering fabric, with long and sheer sleeves at the side.

The dress looked so ethereal, she's not even sure how the princes found a dress like it. She also felt a bit embarrassed because the dress was off-shoulders, since she's not used to wearing anything that revealing.
