"Chin up, chin up. Everybody loves a happy face.

Wear it, share it, it'll brighten up the darkest place.

Twinkle, sparkle, let a little sunshine in;

You'll be on the right side, looking at the bright side;

Up with your chinny chin chin."

I sing in the morning as I look around the house thinking. 'I should probably start cleaning up this place since I don't know how long I'm going to be here...' I think to myself. I head to a closet and grab a mop and the bucket before filling it with water and soap. I start to mop the kitchen floor. Luckily all the floors here are wooden. I already sweeped all of the floors. And trust me, you don't want to know some of the things I found. Once the kitchen's done, I go to the living room and work in there. I smile in success, pulling my hair up into a bun, before grabbing a wet rag and washing off the kitchen table, and the two tables in the living room. I nod my head when they're done.

I go over to all of the curtains and take them down, opening a window to the some fresh air in, before I go and put them in the washing machine. I start washing all of the windows, getting grime and what I believe to be nicotine stains off of them. When the windows are done, I start washing all of the walls, in both the living room, and kitchen. "Lets do downstairs only for now. Then, when I'm done here, I'll do the hallway, and other rooms." I mumble to myself.

I start looking through some more closets, until I find some nice light pink pastel curtains. "Jeff's probably going to kill me." I giggle quietly, before hanging them up. I look at all of dirty couch covers and sigh.

I take them all off before going to the basement and taking the curtains out of the washer and putting the covers in. I also put the curtains into the dryer. I go back upstairs and grab a little hand vacuum and start vacuuming the couches and chairs. I look out the window into the backyard and see a variety of different flowers but they're all mixed with weeds. I sigh and look for garden gloves. Once I find a pair, I go outside and pull out all of the weeds. Once those are clear, I look around for some flowers.

"Lets pick some bleeding hearts, baby's breath, a few pink roses to compliment the curtains, tulips, and some mint, to add a nice smell combination." I say thoughtfully, jogging inside to grab some pliers. Once I grab them, I run out again and pick them. I dig out their roots as well. I walk inside slowly to make sure nothing bad happens to the poor plants. I cut off the leaves when I get inside and smile, before finding a vase and washing it with hot, soapy water.

After I rinse it, I place the flowers inside and take them to the living room, placing them in the middle of the table. I look at the time and frown. "It's only ten." I mumble, feeling like I've worked longer than that. I hear a ding and jog downstairs to fold the other curtains. I switch the covers from the washer to the dryer in two minutes, before running back up and looking around. "I guess I can start on the downstairs bathroom while I wait." I mumble, before grabbing some toilet and shower cleaner. I read the instructions and find out that I can use the toilet cleaner on the sink too. I grab a new sponge and some rags before heading into the bathroom and starting with the mirror. When I finish scrubbing the mirror, I put some toilet cleaner into the toilet bowl, to sit and kill any unwanted bacteria. After a good twenty minutes, I look around to see what I've accomplished. "I've cleaned the mirror, sink, toilet, organized the shelf where magazines are stored, and scrubbed the floor. Not bad Charlie. Not bad at all."

I start to work on the bath tub. "Oh my God. What did I get myself into?" I ask myself, scrubbing continuously at black mold and stains. After some much used elbow grease and falling a few times, I finished the bathroom. "Thank. God." I groan, getting out of the tub and opening a window before going back into the living room. "I should take a break, but I just have the itch to clean..." I mumble, heading up the stairs to see how bad the stair walls are. I smile when I just see dust. I go back downstairs and grab a duster before running it up and down the stairs walls and steps. After another half an hour, I finish washing the stairs, dusting and polishing the rail, and washing down the walls. I get to the hallway and see that the walls are pretty clean and just dusty. I spend five minutes dusting the walls, before heading into Liu's room. I groan when I see blood stains on the sheets. I grab the pillow cases, bed spread, and any other washable thing on the bed, before throwing them in a basket and taking them downstairs to wash. Once they're in, I grab the couch and chair covers, taking them back to the living room, putting them all on. I jog back upstairs and into Liu's room, looking around. Luckily, this time I brought with me the mop, mop bucket, duster, broom, and air freshener. I do everything I need to do in there quickly, and easily. I open up the closet and look at Liu's clothes that are in there. I frown and pull out boxes in the bottom of the closet. All of the boxes with Jeff's notebooks, and empty boxes to put Liu's clothes in. I fold all of his clothes and put them in there, labeling the box and taking two at a time downstairs, along with Jeff's notebooks.
