"miss bianca, you need to get up." dorota pulled open her blinds. "today's your bat mitzvah."

bianca blinked as the sunlight flooded her room, momentarily disoriented. then, it all came rushing back to her. her bat mitzvah day had finally arrived. the day she'd been preparing for, both excited and anxious about.

with a mix of anticipation and nervousness, she swung her legs over the edge of the bed and sat up. "i can't believe it's finally here," she murmured to herself.

dorota smiled warmly. "it's a big day, miss bianca. but you'll do wonderfully. now, i've laid out your dress for you. it's time to start getting ready."

bianca nodded, the realization of the day's significance slowly sinking in. she couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement and a touch of apprehension. her bat mitzvah was not only a celebration but also a moment of transition into a new phase of her life.

"thank you, dorota," she replied with a grateful smile. she knew dorota had been tirelessly helping with all the preparations, ensuring everything was just right.

her day was packed today, she needed to do her hair, her nails, makeup— everything, this was the most important moment of her life, her future depended on this.

she reached for her phone and the first thing she was on her screen was a text from andy.

andy 🫶🏻
can't wait to see you
your mitzvah is gonna be lit

bianca couldn't help but smile at andy's message. his support meant the world to her, especially on a day like today.

bianca 💕
i can't wait to see you too!!!
thanks for being here with me
It means everythingggg 💗

with that, she set her phone aside and turned her attention to the busy day ahead. there were many preparations to be made, but she was determined to make her bat mitzvah a memorable and meaningful occasion.

"i can't believe i'm getting my nails done," stacy gushed, looking at the various colors. "my dad would've never let me do this."

"special occasion," bianca smiled, she decided on going with french tips, since they suit her dress the best.

the nail salon was bustling with activity as they both picked out their nail colors. stacy finally settled on a shade of soft blue with a touch of glitter. "this is so much fun," she admitted, wiggling her fingers in excitement.

bianca chuckled. "it's all part of the experience. and it's nice to have a little pampering before the big event."

as the nail technicians began their work, stacy leaned in to bianca and whispered, "you're going to be amazing up there, you know that, right?"
