Joy sat on the bridge and looked out at the creek. She felt so good being able to show herself to Jay and Mica but her heart was heavy because she couldn’t leave with them. Then she saw the pain in their eyes as they watched her disappear.

But now she knew that the truth was out and she knew that maybe now Mica would be able to find love again.

She didn’t know how long she sat on that bridge but one day she looked up and saw that new houses had been built. Rose’s house was now in shambles, the road leading to the park was different.

Then she looked around the park and thought she saw something, but hurried up and changed her mind and thought, “ that couldn’t be. But why not I'm stuck here so why not her.”

She got up and started walking to the end of the bridge. She took a step and realized that somehow she was able to walk off of it. This was the first time in how long she was able to go past the bridge. But when she got to the road she couldn’t go any further.

She walked back to where she thought she saw something and yes it was what she thought she saw. Rose. Rose was hiding behind a tree. Well not Rose but her ghost.

Joy let out a huge laugh. She hadn’t laughed in a long time but this laugh even sounded foreign to her.

She walked even closer to Rose and Rose tried to get away from Joy but Joy was faster and grabbed hold of Rose around her throat.

Rose tried to let out a loud scream but she couldn’t make a sound.

Joy couldn’t believe her eyes. Even in the afterlife of whatever this was she was still stuck with Rose. But then she noticed that Rose seemed scared of her, she realized that that was almost better than seeing Mica and Jay.

Joy looked at Rose and said, “awe so we see each other again. And how long have you been here?”

Rose once again tried to talk but she couldn’t make a sound.

Joy let go of Rose’s throat and said, “ ok now talk, how long have you been here?”

Rose cleared her throat and forced out words.

“I’ve been here since you killed me. I was right there when my loving husband told them about my diary, how he didn’t want a funeral for me, Which I still can’t believe that he would do me, of all people like that. And I've been here while you were in some kind of trance on the bridge. I’ve been trying to understand why you killed me like you did. And why am I stuck here.”

“I understand why you're stuck here because you stole the man of my dreams and you had to pay. But me. What ever did I do to be stuck and with you, the person that killed me.”

Joy let out the craziest laugh that she was able to muster up.

Rose fell to the ground and started begging Joy not to hurt her again.

Joy bent down and said, “ Are you kidding me? You deserved everything that came to you. And trust me I think that it’s ironic for me that you're stuck here since you wouldn’t help me that night that I was murdered.”

“Now i’ll be able to torture you more and as long as we’re stuck here”.

“This is going to be the best afterlife that anyone could ever ask for.”

Then Joy stopped and looked around and noticed that there were strange wagons on the road. They didn’t have horses pulling them. And the clothes that the people were wearing were different.
