The story of Joy is made up but it’s from a folklore from my hometown. The pictures are from the actual creek that the story came from. Growing up on my side of town ( across the creek) I was always told that there was a woman that was murdered in the creek and they never caught the person that did it. And if you went there late at night and heard screams it was her.

I did put in here my experience. I’m the one that is mentioned about being the one that two went one way and left the other two. It was me, my sister, and two cousins. We were in the park late at night sneaking out and we heard some noise that sounded like a low scream.

Me and my cousin under me took off running and we left our little sister’s there. To this day we still call them The Lil One’s.

I took names from different parts of my family.

I’d like to dedicate this book to my Family.

My three children Ryan, Jerry, Daijia daughter in law Elisha

6 Grandchildren Jacob, Savannah, Sa’Mya, Zain, Aubree, Kehlan

My sister Latishea and cousin Tara.

Without you guys backing me up and supporting me I couldn’t have done this.

Pictures taken by Latishea and Tara.

My nieces Timishea and TImea
