(Aleksei's PoV)Liam and I spent the weekend together at his place and the thrill of sneaking in and out without being caught by his parents made seeing him all the more exciting.
It was a relatively warm Tuesday afternoon and we were let off a bit earlier than we usually do by the school so we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon at Liam's place.
"Vera's throwing one of her massive parties this Saturday." Liam said whilst being sprawled out on his bed.
I looked up at him from my place on the floor with Rufus' head in my lap, "oh, okay." I said paying no mind as I shut my eyes and rubbed soothing circles onto the golden fur balls head.
"You'll be there, right?"
"Not so sure."
"Oh come on, don't be such a killjoy."
I sighed.
"I never know what to do at those parties. I just drink, drink and drink."
"That's what people do at parties, Aleksei." He softly chuckled.
"People actually get laid at parties Liam and that's something I get very little of."
"Something you don't get at all." He said in a hushed tone to which I responded by throwing one of Rufus' chew toys at him.
"And what about you? Doesn't being bisexual increases the probability of you getting laid?" I said snidely. "But here you are. Sat with me being miserable."
"I'm waiting for the right person." He said looking all high and mighty but one couldn't miss the blush that he now sported.
"Haven't seen you chatting up any birds or blokes alike so where exactly are you going to find this right person." I teased.
He gave me an incredulous look as though I was stupid for not knowing the answer to that question.
He sighed and looked straight up at the ceiling, "right, so this party's gonna be the perfect place for the both of us to get laid."
I sensed some sadness in Liam's tone and realisation dawned over me, "I'm only joking," he turned to face me as I spoke, "I can't force you to do something you're not comfortable with." He smiled softly at my words.
"Plus I know you're still in love with uh, him." I may or may not have hit a nerve there because his smile turned into a frown and he sat up.
"I-I'm not." He said but there was so much uncertainty in his voice and it sent a pang to my heart.
He still loved Mitchell. There they were again, those thoughts of Liam and I.
I could honestly say I've never known what it feels like to like someone, but my mind kept coming up with these weird thoughts about Liam and I couldn't tell what I was feeling. These thoughts were so dramatic.
His windows were open, curtains pushed to the sides as the soft sunlight streamed in. He sat there basking in the warm rays like he owned the sun.
I gulped and let the gay thoughts take hold of me.
His blond locks shimmered like liquid gold as the sunlight embraced each strand, illuminating their beauty.
I loved these thoughts for some reason, they caused a warmth I've never known existed in all my years of living.
His amber eyes glistened like sun kissed honey as he stared at me in confusion, he must have asked me if I was okay but I was too mesmerised by the golden specks that dotted his iris.
I smiled creepily as I stared at him with heart eyes.
"Uh, Aleksei you're freaking me out now." He said with genuine concern.Oh, fuck.
"I was just- you look like Rufus!"
He stared at me with a quirked brow as the dog shot up from my lap at the mention of his name.
"With your blond hair and that..."
"Oh." He said softly and chuckled to himself.
He was so beautiful I physically couldn't bring myself to stop staring at his soft smile and equally soft lips. His cheeks were dusted with a rosy hue that simply highlighted all of his breathtaking features.
"I take it that you like what you see." He joked suggestively.
"I do."
He went wide eyed before looking away and awkwardly laughing my statement off.
"That's not a very straight thing to say."
"I don't think I'm all that straight." I said in a barely audible tone as I frowned.
I quickly collected my things from the floor and rushed to the door, "I'll see you tomorrow." I said and shut the door behind me as I made my way down the stairs and out the front door.
Liam didn't call after me and I could see why because when I walked out the gates and peaked over at his window...
He was sat on his bed and had a hand over his mouth as he stared wide eyed at the wall opposite him.
