(Liam's PoV)

"What the fuck?!" I pulled myself away from him and stumbled back and blinked a few times before a confused expression took over his face.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

My fingers found their way to my lips as I tried to process everything that happened in the span of only 2 minutes.

Aleksei hopped off the bed and walked towards me, he wrapped his arms around my neck and placed lazy kisses all over my face before I shoved him off for the second time, "Get off."

"What's the matter with you?" Aleksei asked me with a deep frown.

"You kissed me!"

He looked taken back by my statement, "You don't want me kissing you?"

I fell silent because I didn't know what I wanted.

"You're drunk." I said sadly.

"And? I want to kiss you. I like kissing you."

"You don't mean it." I snarled feebly.

"Is there something I need to know?" He asked with an air of smugness.

I didn't like drunk Aleksei.

"I thought you've wanted this for a long time now." He shrugged and my eyes went wide.

"W-what does that mean?" I asked, gulping as he walked towards me enticingly.

"You know what your problem is? You don't know how to have fun." He said with a frown.

"You talk an awful lot about liking guys but when a guy offers you something, you respond like this?" He clicked his tongue in disappointment.

My heart sank, was this really Aleksei? Is this what Charlie was talking about? That Aleksei was bad news?

"You're a whole new person when drunk." My voice cracked as the words left my mouth.

"They were right." He chuckled bitterly.

"What?"

"Mitchell. You love him too much." He seemed angry and I didn't understand.

"This isn't about Mitchell?" I hadn't so much as thought about Mitchell ever since Aleksei and I got close, the latter had consumed my every thought with his sweet and calm disposition that seemed complete nonexistent at the moment.

"Why do you look at me like that when you're still hung up over him?" He asked with barred teeth.

I calmed myself down, he is drunk and is being unnecessarily loud and dramatic. That's just what some drunk people do.

He's not in his right mind.

"They really were right."

They?! Who were 'they'

"Aleksei, you're clearly too drunk to make any sense so I suggest we drop the matter."

"Fuck off." He shook his head before dragging himself out the door.

He was drunk and this was all just a silly act.

I shrugged into his jacket and exited the room as well. I was getting just as drunk as Aleksei and maybe that's just what I need to get on his wavelength.

I went straight to the kitchen and grabbed myself a drink, downing it in a split second.

"Hi."

I looked over my shoulder and saw Cheryl standing awkwardly with two drinks in her hand.

Great.

"Have you by any chance seen Aleksei?"

"No."

"It's just that, I haven't been able to get hold of him since he got here." She said looking around the place.

"Lucky you." I grabbed one of the drinks she held onto and downed it like the Neanderthal I was turning into.

"Wow, okay. Whatever. Just thought you'd know since he's your friend."

"Friend." The word tormented me, I repeated it a couple times before she muttered a not so subtle 'weirdo.' and left.

I chatted away with anyone and everyone that had the misfortune of crossing paths with me and I liked to think I had made a lot of friends.

Rachel (one of my friends from earlier if you don't remember) and I took up the role of making sure no one was spiking any of the drinks, not that we thought anyone would but one could never be too sure, not with these St. Andrews kids lurking around.

It must have been time for the bands performance, "Let's go watch your man." Rachel wiggled her brow.

I kept my mouth shut not wishing to disclose any of today's events and partly not wishing to think too much of the unpleasant exchange.

We made our way to the living room where everyone had gathered, I spotted Aleksei with his red guitar dangling from his shoulder as he played a lick to himself.

He was so beautiful, the way his hair fell into his eyes, the way his full lips would part when he smiled, his little nose that was almost always dusted pink, his style, his presence, his warm breath and the taste of his lips.

"Can I have that." I asked

"Uh, I just got a refi-"

"Thanks."

Rachel frowned at me, "Are you alright? You're drinking an awful lot." She stated in genuine concern even though I had robbed her of her drink.

"You know what my problem is?" I asked her to which she shook her head.

"I don't know how to have fun."
