(Aleksei's PoV)It was an awfully bright and beautiful Friday morning and I was sat with under bags the size of Jupiter below my eyes as I tried my hardest not to fall asleep.
I had spent the whole of last night by the computer...doing things.
No, not jerking off. Just other things. The English lesson seemed to drag on and on but I kept myself occupied by counting the number of heads passing by the classroom door.
Once the lesson was over and we were dismissed I picked up all my belonging and dashed off into the corridor where I had a head on collision with a rather small girl. She fell to the floor, a few of her books lay around her as she stared wide eyed in embarrassment and shock.
Shit.
"Cheryl! I'm so sorry." I said as I quickly pulled her to her feet.
Some of the students walking down the corridor snickered and some simply shook their heads as they walked past us paying no mind.
I began to pick up her belongings as she stood to my side blushing a crimson red. I handed her her stuff and smiled uncomfortably.
She mumbled a weak 'thanks' and stared at the ground for a few seconds, "um, just wanted to know if I'll be seeing you at Vera's party tomorrow." She asked shyly as she looked up into my eyes.
She looked so pretty with her blonde pigtails and cherry chapstick lips. I might have stared at her perfect lips for long because she averted her gaze back to the ground and blushed more.
These are good thoughts.
The thoughts I had in my bedroom when Liam was over? Not good thoughts.
But he looked so delectable last night...I could still feel his strong arms wrap around me, his warm breath in the crook of my neck, his kind smile and the way he looked at me like I was the only person in the world.
"I-I'm not sure I'll stay for long." I lied through my teeth for no reason.
There was a reason though,
And the reason had the most alluring amber eyes that incited within me a warmth I'd never felt, had golden hair that surpassed the beauty of any ordinary blondie and an embrace that I craved day after day.He really was something else.
"Hello!" Cheryl waved, snapping me back to reality from my reverie.
"I was thinking of getting an early night, I'm trying to make it outta school." I lied again.
"Oh! That's alright...I'll just see you when you get there then."
A crooked smile took over my face, did I look this desperate when I sought after girls before?
I knew what Cheryl wanted with the way she gently let her hand linger on my arm for a bit longer or with the way she'd so easily blush and look away when I was staring.Liam did the same things but when he did it my heart fluttered, not in a gay way, obviously. It just did and I wanted to feel that more deeply.
I was shaken up from my reverie once again as Cheryl wrapped herself around my arm whilst we walked down the corridor.
PDA was not allowed on campus but that didn't bother me as much as the fact that I may run into Liam and this is NOT how I want to be seen.
I didn't have the heart to pull myself away from the girl so I cautiously walked by her side making sure to look around so as to avoid the amber eyed boys gaze.
But Lady Luck had to fist me and i fell prey to Alfie's smug smirk, which was unarguably worse.
He somehow pushed through the crowd and made it to Cheryl and I.I cringed at the fact that Alfie had caught me with a girl, this was going to be excruciatingly difficult.
"Why, hello there!" He had a sadistic smile on.
Cheryl shot him a cutesy smile as she waved at him, "Aleksei?" He looked at me, "introduce me to the missus."
Jesus Christ.
Cheryl giggled and half-heartedly protested against Alfie's bizarre assumption.
My morning got worse when Liam decided to gently tap my shoulder, I looked over and made a squeaky sound.
He smiled at me, his cheeks turning a gorgeous pink as his hand lingered on my shoulder for a second longer.
"Oi, Stassen! What's it feel like to be the other woman?" Alfie laughed like the insensitive bastard he was.
I used smacking his head as an excuse to untangle my arm from Cheryl.
Alfie sprinted away after casually causing a storm in the middle of the corridor, after which Cheryl grabbed onto my arm like it was her natural instinct.Liam chuckled awkwardly and Cheryl blushed at the entire ordeal.
"My Best regards." Liam said as he ran his fingers through his majestic hair.
I visibly gulped at the sight before me as a chill ran down my spine. Something in the way he said it, seeming so sardonic didn't go unnoticed by me.
I didn't know how or why but I was just about ready to sit him through an entire power point presentation on 'it's not what it looks like.'
Cheryl smiled at him shyly, "hi."
He beamed at her but there was something so foul about his expression and only I could see that, I was scared for her and I didn't know why."Aleksei?" Liam more or less commanded, to which I nodded swallowing the lump in my throat.
"Your place tonight?" Again, it was more of a command than a question. I felt my insides flip at his dominating tone. It was mad hot.
I nodded almost frantically, knowing well that if I decided to speak I'd moan instead.
That one question and the way it was delivered was enough to make me pull my arm away from Cheryl. She looked between Liam and I, it was obvious she sensed the tension in the air but she didn't back out.
I was just about ready to collapse when Liam decided to speak, "I'll see you guys later then," he said with a forged smile before looking over at Cheryl, "Bye, Cheryl."
I had my eyes set to the floor as he excused himself, leaving behind a confused Cheryl and a flustered me.
"Wow." Cheryl said as she watched Liam round a corner, "I know it may seem like I'm overstepping but can I ask you something?"
I nodded thoughtlessly to her questions, my mind intoxicated by Liam's charm and breathtaking beauty.
"Does he...bully you?"
"W-what?"
"You were tense the whole time! You should stand up to him." She whisper yelled, her arms crossed over her chest and a look of genuine concern on her face.
The question caught me so off guard I didn't know how to respond. So I stood there, my mouth slightly agape and my eyes as wide as nan's saucers.
"And what's that about 'your place tonight?' " she tried mimicking Liam's deep voice, "that's sexual harassment!"
My jaw came in contact with the floor at her absolutely preposterous conclusion. She had caught on, but not on the truth.
She may have caught on on the way my mouth went dry when he was around, the way my heart lost all sense of rhythm when he smiled at me, how my blood ran cold when he held me in his embrace but she didn't know the emotion behind it all.
She didn't know I liked him.
